Don’t mind me. I’m just the messenger lol.But I was told here that his training sessions of the past week were better than last year.

His performance yesterday definitely gives him confidence if that’s how he looks after just recovering. That's new. A lot of riders have been sick recently. Reduced training volume could affect his Rwanda performance.

Let’s see. It’s still 2 weeks until the RR.He's good, no doubts. But such a setback could take away a bit of % from your best. Maybe not in the TT (which is like FTP test) but in the long RR.
Awful news. He really underperformed in Quebec and there isn't more time to build his shape![]()
"He deserved to win” – Tadej Pogacar explains GP de Montreal gift and looks ahead to world championships
UAE Team Emirates – XRG reached a historic milestone at the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal, claiming their 85th victory of the 2025 season, equalling the all-time record set by HTC-Columbia in 2009....cyclinguptodate.com
So Pogacar was actually sick last week.
You forgot his GP Montreal dominance?Awful news. He really underperformed in Quebec and there isn't more time to build his shape
Yeah. The WCRR will be over after 6h30He's good, no doubts. But such a setback could take away a bit of % from your best. Maybe not in the TT (which is like FTP test) but in the long RR.

The ride in Quebec would suggest it's not an issue. Not as much as the travel could be, anyway. That's new. A lot of riders have been sick recently. Reduced training volume could affect his Rwanda performance.
Already gave the greatest gift in 2020.0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000002% chance and only if Roglic gives something in return.
He's already back in France, he left Montreal yesterday alreadyI wonder if he is going to France and then Kigali. Or if he will go to Kigali right after Montreal.
how do you know? He's already back in France, he left Montreal yesterday already
Because a Belgian newspaper (HLN) said that he gave an interview at the airport yesterday evening after the race. So it's certain he left Canada already, but where he is going is an estimated guess by me. He's not going so early to Kigali no reason for that, so I guess he's in France with his girlfriend since he gets a lot of energy from that.how do you know?

Obviously. Rogla was his idol and Pogi still has remorses after Tour 2020 finale. They will shake hands at the line and Pogi will make sure to finish ahead by a tyre width. Rogla won't even notice.
I will be surprised to see Rogla in the top10.OK, thanks for confirmation, Rogla doesn't have to wait then, rainbow here we come. I am thinking Pogi at TT and Rogla at RR.
Optimal outcome.
Roglic winning the Giro 2026 with the rainbow jersey.
Roglic winning the Giro 2026 with the rainbow jersey.
In my head, Roglic will ride the WC RR course behind the peloton, waving regally at the crowd and smiling enigmatically. This is what he did on Montmartre and it's now what I want to see from him every time he races, it was wonderful.
So we will see Roglic lifting his arms in Paris?I am not sure to be honest, 2026 will likely be all about the Tour.
Rogla can do it in front of the peloton too, for cameras. At Montmartre we only (luckily) got a couple of iconic pictures. Doing it at front, now that is a whole different story.
So we will see Roglic lifting his arms in Paris?
