It was ridiculous. The moto was always behind him and in front of group 2.
U could see it in the gap at the finish as there is no world where healy & skelmose could finish 4 minutes ahead of a 2nd chase group of skuins, ciccone, deltoro, ayuso in a 1 day race. Thank god finally they pulled the motorbike out of the race after remco was solo otherwise he would've caught pog

Congratz to Pogacar for winning one of the toughest WC races in history.

(as much as i was expecting more from Del Toro) i'm glad he could not follow. The though of him & Pogacar rining hand in hand to the finish at a WC was giving me shivers. Glad for the sport we did not get to see that.

Ever since I saw the training video for Mur Kigali, I thought Pogacar would use that point to select. I didn't think he'd do it on Mont Kigali.

The cobbles on Mur Kigali are much more difficult than those on Kimihurura, and in that video, you can see the difference between how Pogacar climbed it and how Remco did it.
Ayuso was a complete disaster at this cobbles; Ayuso admitted after the race that he couldn't climb it at a good pace.

Pidcock was the other rider who climbed it well the other day, and today del Toro. Del Toro madie MTB when he is younger.

Remco can rival Pogacar in Ardennes, but in Flanders, it seems impossible to me.
Besides, the roads in Flanders are narrow, and positioning is more important than today, and Pogacar is far better at positioning.

Only VDP is a rival in Flanders, and I don't think he's a rival there either. Pogacar is the best Flanders rider today.
I'd like to see Remco in Flanders one year, but he'd have positioning issues. Although it's impossible for him to climb the Flanders cobbles worse than Ayuso. What an absolute disaster.
Vingegaard is another rider I would have liked to see in Mur Kigali cobbles.

That's what Pogacar does so much better than the rest. He's much more skilled than the usual GT riders.
Among the GT riders, I only see Del Toro winning Flanders or Strade Bianche. Although I still think he has problemas in long races. He could win Strade Bianche because it's shorter, but Flanders is too long.

Likely to end the season with:
- TDF
- 3 Monuments
- WC
- Podium every monument in season
- 4 TDF Stages
- EC
- Dauphine
- Amstel
- UAE

How many great riders don’t finish a career with a palmares like that?

It’s probably not even Pog’s best season.

Insane.
He lost AGR.

He can win 5 major races again this season. This is incredible! More and more the rider with the second best palmares

Vingegaard eidther, something I've read on X. During the first week of the Tour, they said it on this forum, although they were trolling, and some of the comments were meant seriously  They don't know what that cobbles are. Kimihurura one is a joke in comparasion. On Mur Kigali, Ayuso saw the difference compared to Kimihurura.

If Remco already saw in training that he couldn't climb Mur Kigali easily, I don't even want to think about Vingegaard.

I think it's something that Pogacar doesn't get much credit for: his skill on the cobbles, including those in Roubaix.
It's not enough to be strong, it's very skillful. It has a lot of merit to be so with his body.

Cobbled classics is way more about relative power. MVP is very skilled and he gets destroyed by Pogacar.
