Not only money wise. The prestige, the scale, the attention and the glory are all multiplied in Grand Tours.
Yeah, but only because casual fans don't understand ***.
'Casual fans' translates into money.

Therefore, if we are not talking about money, the Vuelta and, to a maybe slightly lesser extent historically, the Giro, don't mean "anything"... when you have 4 wins and 2 second places, as a 27y.o., in the TdF, which is by far the KING when it comes to GTs:
it's all about the TdF!

For those who understand cycling:
- MSR and PR, even more so the latter, would be epic.
- RVV was already a big deal (
and by 'big deal' I actually mean it being "impressive")
- Only LBL and GdL aren't such a huge deal from a GT winner - albeit even in those scenarios we were generally talking about 2-3 total LBL+GdL tops, definitely not 5 GdL in a row

He will miss him next year for sure.
Doesn't he get some role within the team?

Still, today was the only race they rode together and last year they did the Giro (and obviously Lombardia), so they don't ride too often together nowadays.
Yeah but, even so... he won't get to look at his *** as much.
:p :tearsofjoy:
During the 2024 Giro there was a funny IG comment/Tweet stating that Pogi sees Majka's butt more than he sees Urska's, and Pogi&Majka gave it a like/retweeted it.

All jokes aside, it's a pity that Majka is already up there age wise 'cause while UAE is obviously a very strong team some could argue that some of his teammates are not as reliable as domestiques.
Majka was hard to match in that sense.

Probably no Vuelta before 2029
2026 WC course will be good for him
2027 will be even better
2028 is in UAE
I think Tour-Vuelta + Worlds + Lombardia is doable in 2027 with the Domancy Worlds but I also won't be surprised if he just plays it safe and does maybe Giro-Tour-Worlds-Lombardia or another Classics-heavy season + Tour (depends on how MSR and Roubaix goes next year).

I've read some things that there were attempts to try and include Jebel Hafeet for the 2028 Worlds but it was insisted that they keep it a flat Worlds course to give the sprinters a chance.

I don't like it for obvious reasons, but it makes sense actually. We didn't have a sprinters friendly worlds since 2016. Not that I miss it, but yeah..
