Flat courses shouldn't be allowed. I remember 2011 Copenhagen and was probably the worst WC I have ever seen.
Mark Cavendish, I am fairly sure, would beg to differ.
As would any number of sprinters and spectators who enjoy a sprint.

Those who enjoy an exciting finish would probably say that the last six (men's races) have been the worst six at least since the millennium, and that they have got progressively worse.

The spirit itself is fun but a world champion should take wind for longer than 150 metres and not be totally reliant on their team setting them up for victory.

Unless the wind blows how many will tune in for more than the final couple of laps?

Even as a Brit with the novelty of a first road world champion in my lifetime Copenhagen was a deathly dull race unworthy of resulting in a rainbow jersey.

Eight is a long shot, he will likely run out of form/motivation. 6 is a realistic goal, which will help him in GOAT debate.
I don't know, from what I have read Pogacar is a total cycling fanatic, so his mind won't grow weary, neither the form. He's only 27 and what is to prevent him from winning the next four Tours?

10/20 in monuments now hitting at a 50% win rate and over 5 years since he do shed a monument and wasn’t in the top 5. Only the LBL 2023 crash spoils that insane run.

"There’s a reason why. It’s always the same, he attacks, he takes one minute, and he keeps it there. There’s a reason for that. He doesn’t go to his limit.”

He will not be so dominant forever. Maybe he has only one more year in him to dominate cycling.
19 monuments seem out of reach IMO (right now). He needs to win MSR and PR and that is a big if.
He could win Liège and Lombardy being less dominant, remembering that he's considerably faster than most contenders in those races.

And as for how much time he has left? Maintaining the schedule and continuing to win GV is another matter. But Pedersen and VDP have been stronger than ever at 30. In classics, longevity can be longer.

I don't think his longevity will be inferior to Vingegaard's, and Vingegaard won the Vuelta exhausted and winning it in one stage. I find that a dramatic statement say one year.

Maybe he can but I wouldn't bet on that. But as his fan, I'm more worried about how he will win MSR and PR. These 2 races need to be on his palmares.

He sounded like a 40 yo washed up guy after the Tour. He's shown recently that he's far from done but he doesn't sound like a guy who's willing to continue after 30 (hinting he'll start considering retirement after 2028 season).

If Vingegaard has won the Vuelta like that, Pogacar could have won it too at a lower level than he is now.

And to think that he only has one more year of dominance in the Classics is quite dramatic, considering that Pedersen and VDP are stronger than ever at 30, and that Pogacar would have won Liège and Lombardia if he were less strong; he could win them by a smaller margin. He would win most sprints. If Remco didn't beat him when he was coocked at Amstel... and we're not talking about being coocked, but rather less dominant.

Well, Van der Poel is a monster, maybe the best ever on flat cobbles so Pogacar has a huge challenge ahead. MSR is more unpredictable but MVP is a problem there as well (Remco's participation may complicate things or help Tadej, depending on particular situation). But nothing is constant and guaranteed, especially during races. Things can change, form can change. Pogacar has to try again and again and we will see what happens.

If he can, he will.

Maybe he can't. Urshka is not getting any younger, they will start their kids factory in 2028. They are top sportsmen and know it's easier to share an effort: I'm fully expecting Teddy to bear some of their children.
When you said 'bear' do you mean what I think you mean?
