True Combloux was a true athletic demonstration.

Hautacam for me was especially epic when he took off at the beginning of the climb, after that, I knew what was gonna happen
On Hautacam we already had Combloux in our mind. This is what makes me think Combloux was better.

Those weaklings Pogacar & Van der Poel are lucky that GOAT Roger doesn't race in this era. They wouldn't even sniff a victory in a monument or WC, would they?
I can never work out with de Vlaeminck if he a) really believes what he's saying, b) is tongue in cheek when he says it or c) just likes getting a reaction.

I'm questioning if TDU is really a possibility next year. If so, this route is tailormade for him. I'm also very curious to see a prologue on road bikes.

it makes zero sense to start that early to do an irrelevant race. It's clear from this year that doing all 5 monuments, the wc and the tour is exhausting even for pogacar, and starting racing that early would make things even worse. And the prize is just winning TDU? come on, it would be stupid

It’s beyond stupid to hear complaints of exhaustion and threats of retirement, turned into starting the season early to race in Australia. I mean start racing in march ffs
