Do spoilers in a race thread get your goat?

Should spoilers be frowned upon in race threads?

An Irishman walks into a race thread and gives away classified information about another race that's taking place at the same time.
Do you get neurotic that the other race has been ruined for you or do you congratulate him on being an Irishman?

As I stated in the mod thread:

Even if you don't care about messing things up for others, posting about race A in the thread for race B is off topic.
I had a similar reaction when I read this thread, but this one seems to be about spoilers in the thread for that race. Which I don't think is an issue at all.

What defense there could be for posting a spoiler in a thread A about race B I can't fathom. If you don't care about messing things up for other posters...welp. IMO have a nice vacation. But I'm 100% with you that doing so is also obviously off-topic.

If that is the case I misunderstood. I thought that the debate was about posting, for example, the P-N winner in the T-A thread.
