Anyone read "Tadej Pogačar: Unstoppable" by Andy McGrath?

The author did not have the opportunity to interview Tadej or his closest circle and a great deal of the material from his UAE time is already publicly available. According to me, the most interesting parts were the descriptions of his junior and U23 years as well as the evolution of Slovenian cycling.

Note: The Kindle version needs some serious editing, McGrath writes better than that.

Pogi won Slovenian Sportsperson of the Year 2025 award, lets see if Laureus is next.

Del Toro will be the leader at UAE Tour, so Pogacar is spared that *** race this year .

What's striking is that Ayuso always managed to avoid going.

I do expect one stage race he hasn’t raced before, aligned with what hes previously said. Besides that, more or less like last year, which is pretty much consensus by now I think. Lets see.

Now unless he goes for a GT double, only way to top 2024 and 2025 is for him to win PR or MSR on top of the other races.
Quite a challenge

Would be Suisse but I guess it depends on the routes of the two TDF warm up races.

He’s competing against himself and history, and having literally completed the greatest season in the history of the sport. The only debate is which one of his seasons it is, gonne be quite the challenge to top indeed. But also Intriguing.

Romandie or Suisse then
I think Suisse. Romandie, if he now does a full classics campaign like last season, right after Liege, seems like a clunky schedule even for him. He has to feel the fatigue heavy at that point.

Lets see, he might do something different than last year too and then Romandie may be more value who knows.

SB, MSR, Ronde, PR, LBL ( maybe Amstel and Fleche...) 5-7 race days. Romandie should be very much doable but the no Dauphine or Suisse.

Plausible, sure. Hes transcending cycling norms more or less each year lately now, so who knows what he'll do.

In terms of schedule the most logical one would be Suisse instead of Dauphiné. Can’t see him being up for Romandie after a full classics bloc.
