I can also have a look at Francesco Moser's curriculum and see that it was not better than Pogacar's.

Yet...

Pogacar will surpass all of them eventually as long as he keeps riding like this. But Moser rode 16 years professionally, so obviously that accumulates more points, even more so when you have 147 wins. Pogacar rode 7 seasons and is almost over all of them, so yeah that ranking seems correct.

Another 400 points season and Pogi is second on the list.

Why are we still citing PCS as if its a real benchmark for anything we all know better surely?

Unless people simultaneously want to claim Del Toro is the second‑best rider in the world right now and are willing to die on that hill you cant use PCS as a serious measurement. You can’t pick and choose when it counts.

Im a Del Toro enjoyer cause hes talent is intriguing but Its definitely not hard to aknowledge hes not even anywhere near a top‑3 in the world today.

No. Pogacar is way ahead of Moser now.

I'm convinced that MVDP would have finished second last year on that route. Without Pogacar, he would have been the clear favorite. You only have to look at his performance in Cipressa or the Tour stage that Abrahamsen won. That day he left Van Aert and other riders in his wake with ease on a short, steep climb

It would be nice to have MVP in Strade. The organizers did make the route a bit easier probably in response to Teddy's dominance.

Strade is such a beautiful race. Every top tier one‑day rider should ride it imo. It has it all, just because Pogacar is so dominating doesnt take away from the race and the course itself literally having everything.

Will be nice to see what Del Toro can do here now and glad Van Aert will allegedely ride it. Would liked Remco and MvdP especially ofcourse just to see but its rather stacked this year I feel. Simmons ,Healy etc should do well here.
