Sure. But Roubaix is a different race. Flat cobbles are not Flemish bergs.
A couple of riders where able to match in past seasons, then one, now it seems that the way it works is all just max out and are spread across the field each doing their own thing in a rather sterile environment. Meaning that things like road surface and similar don't play such a big role any more.
Such a bitterweat feeling. It's bad because there are only 2 races now where Pogacar has any threat (MSR and PR). It's good because I don't have to read any more posts about MVP being better than Pogacar in classics and specially in RVV.
At PR Mathieu should IMHO still be able to match Pogi unless he is not in good form. If not in good form then likely even at PR we would get a bunch of lone riders. As for reading Mathieu being a better rider in this type of races, well, it was true. Then they matched and now i seems that for majority Pogi is ahead.
