We get six more years to enjoy the Pogi-Gianetti show.Allowing Gianetti to access unlimited sport washing petrol dollars was a really bad idea.
'It's a special day for cycling' – Tadej Pogačar extends with UAE Team Emirates through 2030
World champion says 'I can't imagine myself anywhere else'www.cyclingnews.com
Sounds like UAE has Pog firmly by the balls and he's more than happy with it, do they expect him to produce seasons like this year's to repeat for another six years? Do they expect him to get even better? Does he think, with the aid of Gianetti, he can? Inquiring minds want to know!Allowing Gianetti to access unlimited sport washing petrol dollars was a really bad idea.

If he is indeed the new Merckx, then yes, but in the modern sport of advanced doping no. You, to quote Jack Daniels, can't handle the Truth! Joker sardonic smile.Sounds like UAE has Pog firmly by the balls and he's more than happy with it, do they expect him to produce seasons like this year's to repeat for another six years? Btw., I want my only halfway mutant Pogi back, I fear as long as he's with UAE and Gianetti this won't happen because he'll be a full-on mutant and then some!
This is absolute bs for cycling in whole. Makes me sad for the state of the sport. UAE has UCI in their pocket too, the new sponsor deals only made it more clear. So the shitshow is propably just going to continue. Can't see who or how will they put a stop to this. Im still annoyed and baffled why are so many buying this Gianetti and petro dollars show.Allowing Gianetti to access unlimited sport washing petrol dollars was a really bad idea.

Only a full alien mutant Pogi can take on Jonas version 2.5.Sounds like UAE has Pog firmly by the balls and he's more than happy with it, do they expect him to produce seasons like this year's to repeat for another six years? Vingegaard has never beaten a top fit Pogacar 1v1. That's a myth.Only a full alien mutant Pogi can take on Jonas version 2.5.
It's the opposite, including 2021.Vingegaard has never beaten a top fit Pogacar 1v1. That's a myth.
U mean 2v1 with Roglic and the whole Visma dream teamIt's the opposite, including 2021.
Roglic also helped Vingegaard in the last ITT.U mean 2v1 with Roglic and the whole Visma dream team
What do you mean with “will… turn”?Will Remco turn to the Dark side or drown his ambitions in a pot of B&J?
What did I miss? This is absolute bs for cycling in whole. Makes me sad for the state of the sport. UAE has UCI in their pocket too, the new sponsor deals only made it more clear.
There’s a difference though when one just has to ride defensively with a far superior team while the other attacks.Roglic also helped Vingegaard in the last ITT.

It's hiding in plain sight. Totally legal, and obviously dodgy. It was this article that was linked by @peterfin
'It builds bridges and brings many opportunities': UCI announces deep partnership with the UAE for years to come
UCI welcomes MyWhoosh as main virtual cycling partner while the UAE gears up to host various world championship eventswww.cyclingweekly.com
Seems a bit too much, that the shadiest team is also a major sponsor of cyclings governing body.
This is the end, my friend, the end, my friend, my friend....ohhh yeaaah! It's hiding in plain sight. Totally legal, and obviously dodgy.
So many pro sports are ultra corrupt at the top. I mean ... IOC? FIFA? The latter is so obviously problematic and yet seems almost untouchable. Truly crazy stuff.
Are we really to assume Gianetti is the mastermind behind all the doping advancements of the last handful of years? He’s just one small piece imo.To quote Oldmanish in the Pogacar pro racing thread: "That critics of Pogacar cite Jonas' breakthrough wattage metrics to confirm some illicit supplementation by Tadej is pure BS".
Well, do you believe this says nothing and that Pogacar is clean?
At any rate, now we read UAE, a state backed team, is going to pay him 8 million euros per year until 2030. The UCI receives money from UAE, in an appalling conflict of interests that knows no shame. Like I said, this is what happens when you allow a Gianetti to have unlimited access to sport-washing petrol dollars. "On my word, unleash hell".

He's surely not alone but a Dr Strangelove / John von Neumann can cause a great deal of havoc if unleashed. Are we really to assume Gianetti is the mastermind behind all the doping advancements of the last handful of years? He’s just one small piece imo.
This was posted up thread: https://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/...ep-partnership-with-the-uae-for-years-to-comehow do the Emirates pay UCI? through Whoops?
Somebody is always ahead in the arms race. Give a guy like Gianetti all that money and he will get ahead. Are we really to assume Gianetti is the mastermind behind all the doping advancements of the last handful of years? He’s just one small piece imo.
