Because we are struggling to explain the inexplicable...
You can make educated guesses on information that is available. Worm blood is *** flat earth level of tinfoil hattery.

Pigs started flying the first time in 2020. The first human tests with M101 oxygen carriers was in 2020, and all the focus of the research is on organ transplants.

The far simpler explanation is oxygen rebreathers mimicking conventional doping and basically beating the biopassport and getting insane oxygen carrying capacity with near conventional doping. Add increased training intensity because you can use this method year round and you can get superior adaptations downstream as well.

I don't believe your dates are correct on the tinfoil hattery; by 2017 there was already a manufacturer and and development of anti-doping testing to detect marine lugworm use; https://analyticalsciencejournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/dta.2127

Pogacar is using the same thing as Jonas and the rest.
Please elaborate, expand.. Jonas is using CO2 rebreathing, hidden motors, sea worm serum, dozens of other secret substances but he chooses not to win? I still don't get what they are using, when, why,why not and why world wide bodies are ignoring everything.. I just can't connect the dots..were does Stonehenge and Bigfoot factor in? Is Pogacar picked up by space aliens the night before races? Sure sounds like it

Never has a bad day. Even if he is doped that’s rather strange. Almost as if there’s another element in play.
Exactlyi I remember that even Armstrong had occasional bad days in his 7 TdF. This guy doesn't have any all season. His last bad day was in the TdF of 2023 where he still finished 22nd in the stage and where the best team at that time had to put him under pressure for two entire weeks.
It's beyond ridiculous.

He said he had a bad day last year in the TdF :tearsofjoy:

any suspension of disbelief ends for me right when that snake Gianetti greets him at the finish. disgusting. it's unbelievable that they let that guy back into the sport.
I’m afraid we’re back where we were in the late nineties and early 2000s, only worse. No one wanting to rock the boat. Journalists and media firms fawning over these ridiculous performances as if they’re down to mere sporting excellence. Let’s not ask too many questions, eh lads? There’s too much money invested in this now for anyone to even be the slightest bit sceptical for fear of bringing the whole lucrative circus down on their heads, scaring away the sponsors and making the shareholders angry. Plus the involvement of petro-states ensures that the so called governing body stays in line while investing in methods that are guaranteed to be almost bulletproof. But it’s so obvious to anyone half paying attention that it just makes the whole charade unwatchable.

Funny that, I've been having bad days watching cycling since the upper-class-twit-of-the-year no 2 burst onto the scene.

Too bad it's not July. It's funnier when the intellectuals come defend their hero <3

But it's a joke. And it's on me, since I keep watching.

It's a tragedy for cycling that the TdF is contested between two men who're for all intents and purposes wackjobs of the highest order.

I mean that.

Vinge with his attitude towards certain teammates (Vuelta 2023 *coughs*) and also his borderline not-quite-right family situation (codependency among other things springs to mind) and Pog. But here's the flarked part: they both seem really popular.

So maybe I'm just an *** (it's possible) who doesn't 'get it' but at this point I just watch races with real detachment and enjoy them for what they supposedly are: mindless popcorn entertainment like a Michael Bay movie. I think VdP is a highly dubious character as well FYI, i.e. his little hotel incident in Australia was pretty messed up but his fans seem to love him even more since.
