That so called attack today, I mean WTAF? Even the TNT commentator seemed flummoxed and, if anything, borderline upset by what he was watching. As he said, there didn’t even appear to be any big effort involved, yet he just glides away as if all the other *WORLD CLASS* riders are under fourteens. And then keeps going into a headwind with zero drop off on energy. At the end he looked as if he’d been out for a nice ride along the tow path. This is utterly repellant and is killing the sport, possibly for good.

Thats not fair, dear bro, I been watching cycling since the the Armstrong days and I've spent many hours watching races from the 80/90's, and I'm very educated on the history of cycling.
I accepted over a decade ago that all top athletes are using PED's. But using a motor is beyond that, even for cycling dirty past, that is next level.

UCI has been complicit in normal doping. They tried to cover up Contadors positive, Armstrong got a test covered up 2003. Thats just stuff we know about for a fact imagine what else has been covered up. What makes you think they would not be complicit in motor doping?

There was the same comment on TV during his FW "attack". The guys literally said: "The world champion just sails away as though everybody else have their brakes on."

I take it back then. I fully agree with you in that motor-doping is well beyond any biological enhancement which could be considered acceptable while keeping the nature of the sport intact. Unfortunately, as one well-known Guardian sports journalist wrote last year, cycling may be drifting towards WWE these days. And the general public seems to like it so far.

I think it's pretty clear his learned to play the game with the UAE unlimited money backing the system. They have been very carefull building Poggie-boys golden image. I think the money was already in there at the 2020 tour, cause the PDBF TT raised way too little noise in my opinion and look where that has brought us. Covid also brought the financial trouble and nobody wanted to rock the boat. Now we are enjoying this one team, one man sh*tshow over and over again, when it's 100% sure that it's not on a level playing field.
