He rides like a robot. Wins with ease with Lidl and Visma chasing.
Shatters his own records from last year.

And somehow both MVDP and Pidcock don't sit on his wheel the entire freaking time, but help him out.
As if Pogacar would have allowed the peloton to come back. But no, they rode like rookies giving Pogacar a helping hand.
You would think Pidcock and MVDP of all people would race smarter. Both are perfectly capable of eating other people their plate when it suits them. Somehow they let Pogacar eat their plate.

For today, who *** cares, one of the greatest bit of racing ever.
What was great?

Pogacar crashing half his rivals out of contention. Other riders helping him for no reason? Van der Poel committing harakiri? Or the sheer inevitable fact that he's never losing a 1v1 sprint versus Pidcock.

The only thing there was to see is basically everything wrong with cycling in 2026 and why the cult of persona around Pogacar makes me want to bash my own brain out so that I can converse with 2026 cycling fans on their level

You've said variations of this so often, it really loses its impact, you know.

I loved this race and I still want to see Pogacar win all 5 monuments without being forced to slow down by the UAE management. TdF, Vuelta and WC RR too, of course.
Bring on mid October with journalists explaining the best bike rider ever and Gianetti and Sola telling us that there's still room for improvement and he'll go for 3 GT victories in 2027.
Never go full r*tard, but let's make an exception for this 'good boy'.
