Terrible situation for a rising star with a promising professional career. Don't really like the sound of the article today, seems like it's worse than it really is :(

I don't know. I doubt he can recover to his old best before this horrible accident. Anyway wish him the best.

Good luck on your return to the platoon TP! I don't want you and PStet using your little scratches as excuses! :D  Its good to see you back!

I searched several ways and didn't see a thread for Taylor Phinney. If my search skills are lacking, mods please merge this with his thread if there is one.

Great news. :)

Crazy scars really..

Hope fortune shines on the guy from now on. Likeable character with great passion for the sport as he has proven times before. Really hope he can develop into what was expected from him before all the setbacks. TT/cobbled specialist.

Wow!

With damage like that it's amazing that TP's back to racing at all.

I pray to little baby jesus that Taylor gets back the form he had before his injury. Anything less than that would be shameful and a discrace to the sport that the organizers let knuckleheads ride around on bikes in the middle of races when they have no idea what to do. :(

The guy is grateful he had to endure this injury/recovery over the last 14 months.

He certainly is able to take the positive out of the negative. Good mentality that's for sure.
He does have that in common with his dad.

Good thing he is back, the scars prove he isnt a boy anymore, bring on next year.
