What? Isn't he within about 10 seconds of both Quintana and Contador on GC? He's still well on course for a top 10, especially considering he usually gets stronger throughout the race relative to the others.

His goal wasn't / isnt Top 10 though.

And lots of people hyped him after his very strong ITT, confirming he had good shape at the start.

Landa still finished at 15th, i think he did the climb at his own pace, considering he's not yet at his top shape. I was hoping more from Henao and Thomas, that should give hope to Froome's rivals that his team isn't now as strong as everybody expected it.

Today's stage shows what we're seeing the last years: a really really strong Sky team, a solid Froome and rivals who are struggling to hold his wheel.

Aru, Porte and maybe others will challenge Froome on separate stages but none will be able to sustain it for the duration.

Just now watching the replay. Did Contador go from leading the chase group to leading the contenders and then get dropped on Porte's attack? Hard to see.

Yes, it's a serious problem that the two strongest today are both likely to get eaten alive in the last ITT.

Wonder if Trek resign Contador during the rest day or decide on bringing Aru in instead. That would be funny.

Looks like Quintana and Contador going on a joint attack during the last week to thwart Froome again!

One of the eternal truths of this forum is that there's always a reason for Landa getting dropped that doesn't involve him not being as good as his opponents.

yeah, looks like he passed the Porte/Froome group, probably to minimize his losses on the final ramp

Glad I picked Aru to win it all.

He looked great. Not sure if this climb, coming so early, has anything to do with the form we'll see in the Pyrenees/Alps, but at the very least it should put a little bit of fear into Froome/Porte. And, top 11 GC now all within a minute. That's good, right! (edit: top 20 within 2 minutes, even better)

I'm also not 100 percent sure that Froome wants to be in yellow right now, but having done so, it's now his race to lose.

Next time they won't let Aru go so let us be more realistic. Nevertheless very good performance by Fabio and the podium looks doable. Quintana can go home, Contador will battle for the last available podium spot with Richie. Froome remains the main favorite.

Lol, i noticed that. But, he's not as good as the big leaders right now for sure.
