A recovery without a positive for a banned substance would be a miracle.

Go Schleck brothers, Evans .... Anybody but AC.

I think we have something in common:D. just i support evans more than the schlecks.

I think so. I have informally polled many cycling fans in Oregon and California (SF Bay area) and there seems to be general consensus about favoring any winner but Contador. I like Evans, but was impressed by Frank Schleck's effort at the end of stage 12.

No one has asked about your opinion.

:), but this is a forum, though. IMO, one of the main ideas of an internet forum is that it is a tool for people to publicly state their opinions. Even without being asked for them first.

edit: I see you explained it somewhat before I even managed to post

I hope he can hang in there with the schlecks. I hope he plays the 1 2 attack by the schlecks well.

Someone has to do the dirty work. They have to learn the hard way if the point is to write moronic comments without any further and deeper opinions then that.

There you go again. Classic keyboard commando. What an enforcer.

OK. I was obviously joking about Ullrich being the darkhorse for the stage, LOL! I know he retired 4 1/2 years ago (give me a break, he was my favourite rider back in the day)...Anyway, my darkhorse for the stage win is either Basso (getting stronger) or a pure Spanish climber, maybe even Sanchez again. I don't think Leopard Trek or teams like Liquigas will drive the pace hard from the beginning. I think major action for the GC will start at the Agnes. Even though it's a fairly short stage (by elite pro TDF rider stanards), I don't know if Leopard Trek will be eager to attack from the start. From a fan perspective, I would love for them or anyone else to early. It woul be awesome and could be decisive!

I must say I think the stage 12 finish was slow. i think for Contador to be in trouble on a climb that slow is an act. I think all this talk of we can wait and attack in the alps is a ploy along with as long as Alberto doesn't lose too much time we aren't out of it. This is a set up to ensure Leopard use themselves up.

Contador to win and win easily, the time gap will be interesting.

 not everything contador does is a fake. no one just loses time like that, you dont how valuable the time might be in the end. Whenever contador looks weak or says he doesnt have great form its a lie:rolleyes:

He was acting???? Are you serious? ** edited by mod *** Peoplca say he has been acting because of firstly what lance did in 2001 and because they can not believe that Contador is not looking that great. He wouldn't give away 15 seconds to a guy he only beat in the Tour by 39 seconds of which most of the time he got back was because he attacked Schleck when he had a mechanical. I am sorry but I do not accept that premise at all.

I wish you were right but i am afraid not. You just don´t fake time losses.

I don´t think he will win but sitting in the remaining bunch and hopefully not losing any time like last mountain stage. I think Frank will take it.
