Nevermind, people always forget about the time trials Gesink did top 10 and beat Kreuziger, like this one:

8. [NED] GESINK Robert RAB 01'25" 1
9. [ITA] CUNEGO Damiano LAM 01'26" 0
10. [ITA] NIBALI Vincenzo LIQ 01'36" 0
11. [CZE] KREUZIGER Roman LIQ 01'41" 0

And then look at them stumbling for explanations.

what tt was this?

They are doing something. Christophe Moreau wants the polka dot jersey, but he can't get off the front, as the Shack are marking him out.
Sad, but true.
Ok, this is beyond ridiculous. Now not only is RadioShack not adding anything to the race, they're actually detracting from it.

Basque Country, 2009 (I think). I'd say Gesink and Kreuzi are more or less equal on longer TTs. And both of them will more than likely get slaughtered in a 50 k flat TT, but like I said, so will most of their rivals in the top-10. Except for Menchov, Leipheimer, and Contador (to a lesser extent).

I have no problem with riders and/or team not meeting expectations. My problem is for a "Champion", the last 2 stages Lance has given no effort on either ending to stay with the group. Where the hell is the pride. That is where I have a problem.

IMHO He's dropping far enough back so no one will chase him if he gets off the front - aiming at a stage win (he has said a few times he would try for a stage win). As long as he doesn't keep falling off tho'.

He mightn't have much pride but it is more than made up for with ego - it must be hurting him to do it - he's hoping to have a last laugh sometime over the next week, maybe in the mountains or a full tilt at the last time trial after riding relatively conservatively for the 10 days preceding.

The Shack tactics are dumb and annoying, but at least we wont have to put up with them at the Vuelta.

I wouldnt mind seeing the no armstrong shack team, including Tiago Machado, Horner, Brajkovic, Zubeldia in the vuelta. They were good to watch at the Dauphine and there is talent there.

Rabobank or/and Liquigas have to try something at Pailheres, they have two guys each at the top 11, even if aren't sure it will work, you have to try, you never know what can happen.

I'm watching "Ville Depart" on France 3, before France 2 go "live" in 10 minutes.
The glorious sunshine has returned!

Break has almost 8 minutes and aren't hanging around.........

True, Brajkovic , Horner,G Rast are impressive riders. Radioshack seemed to ride the Dauphine well but now seem dysfunctional, that must be down to having Lance as team leader.

BREAKING NEWS. Andy Schleck and Alberto Contador team up next year.

Does this person have any credibility?

no way that'll happen.
This guy is not really up to date many other times. He works at eurosport and well, let's just say they are rarely quicker than this forum, probably never

Exactly. He thinks the white jersey wearer at the beginning of the Tour is Thomas Geraint, and the Garmin sprinter is Tyler Ferrer. He's not really an insider.

Terrible I can't watch this stage live from 14:30 onward, recorded the rest and hope that I can ensure that I won't see any spoilers

Nice to see Rolland in there, but I was hoping for something at last from John Gadret. Maybe his Giro effort was just too big.
