The shack is so boring with their negative tactics. No wonder they weren't invited to the Vuelta (yeah i know that lance and jb won't be there). Le Tour would be even more interesting if Vacansoleil were in their place.

BTW in what place do you think Menchov will finish today?

fourth ad break on eurosport and they not even been on air 30 minutes yet

edit: sorry, that was the fifth apparently

Same here in the States but they claim that it is to provide us with 30+ minutes of uninterrupted coverage on the final climb. As I type this they are going BACK to commercial

Looking forward to seeing Menchov perform today. He has been 'invisible' and hasn't put in a pedal stroke too many. I think he likes the heat and the Pyrenees. If he does well today, he might become a threat for second place, keeping the TT in mind.

Andy's team has worked hard already, Andy has worked hard and used a lot of energy in the Alps. I am curious to see if he can keep that up in the following days.

why dont you just pay £4 and get eurosport player?

or.. play both feeds and just mute the audio on the echo one?

Good point, forgot about that. Much better, thanks.

Watching Levi get interviewed and he just has no attack in him.

EDIT: Astana is driving the peloton. I wonder if Andy isn't looking good....

Iglinksy and it was the entire Astana team up front. Not sure if I understand the tactics being employed here--unless AC wants a victory here today.

EDIT: rolling at 35 mph. WTF are they doing?

Sometimes one can over analyze things, but I saw an interview with Andy on the dutch TV yesterday. IMO he looked very very tired. Obviously after the stage and before his dinner. But still ...

Didn't his team sort of collapse yesterday with him not having anyone around him when it mattered. I think all of them came in +5m.

I'll be annoyed if the contenders don't race it until Ax3, I want to see some punishment dished out over Pailheres.

I think that's right. Maybe AC is just hungry and wants to get to the feed zone sooner rather than later.:p

They are doing something. Christophe Moreau wants the polka dot jersey, but he can't get off the front, as the Shack are marking him out.
Sad, but true.

With all of this talk of Armstrong attacking to win in the next few days, hopefully Caisse will take the opportunity to return the favor.

Evans could struggle today as he admitted that he is finding it hard to ride out of the seat. He probably spends more time out of the seat on climbs than just about anyone. Hope he can hang in and do a reasonable ride.

Vino (?) just said that they want to get Contador over the Pailheres en bloc, drop him off at the base of the Ax 3, where Vino is hoping to support him for a couple of meters/kms till he is done.

I think Contador smells Saxo blood after Mende... Astana be pushing the bunch faaaar harder than they need to still have a shot at the stage.
