The only thing I can figure out is they are burning the 3 flat guys before the first climb. It's not like Noval, Grivko or Iglinksy will be instrumental on the climbs.

But I'm scratching my head too.

AC wants to win the stage.

That's it. Those 3 guys plus Hernandez wouldn't be great help anyway. Tiralongo, De La Fuente, Vino and Dani Navarro will be more than enough for Bert.

My 9 year old is amused by Versus interview with LA

I just came into the room and LA is being interviewed. My son's 1st words with a tone of incredulity: "They just said Armstrong is in contention."

Armstrong on tv basically saying that he won't be helping Levi today--since he's got plenty of help in Kloden, Horner and Jani. Love that teamwork/support.

I think isolate and soften Andy on the hc climb and then move in for the kill on the last climb.

Yep. Bertie must be feeling good... or he wants to psych out Andy. Both of which are likely true.

Does Menchov really have to end every sentence with ", no"?

You know, I think it's, you know, better than what, you know, Andy Schleck does, you know, all the time when he, you know, gives interviews, you know.

So long as that one rider's last name is Armstrong. :p Armstrong is not enjoying this one bit. I don't see him having the desire/motivation to go for a stage win at this point. Unless he's just a great actor...

VS pre race interview w/LA. Pretty sad. He has given up. Will not help Levi... LA-"He (levi) has plenty of support w/o me, of course I will try and be there but it is not that easy"

Also regarding yesterdays crash in the neutral zone
"I have crashed almost every day, so I just wanted to bat 1000"

given up...writing on the wall....should have stayed retired after 05.....

Legacy Fail.

I liked when Armstrong was talking about the Astanas hitting the deck yesterday, Andreu changed topic immediately and asked about the neutral-zone mishap. :D Frankie is enjoying himself it seems.

I still think we are due for a Hinault rant on LA's embarrassing himself and disrespecting the race.
