With all of this talk of Armstrong attacking to win in the next few days, hopefully Caisse will take the opportunity to return the favor.

Let RS have its badge of dishonor. To target that as a goal is like kissing your sister and bragging about it to your buddies. (Sorry, that's creepy.)

Is it wrong that I'd rather be watching this than going out with my girlfriend later? :p

Anyway, AC to win, everyone else loses.

I dont get it.

If astana thinks Saxo is weak, why dont they wait for the mountains to kill them, rather than let them slipstream behind a fast pace on the flat.

And arent saxo supposed to be at the front, as maillot jaune holders, if Astana werent pushing the pace? Surely Saxo would lose more energy going slow on the front rather than getting a free ride from astana, who are tiring themselves out instead.

maybe they are just trying to wear out lance :D

this sort of pace is really hard on the the sprinters etc, making them use energy before the climbs even start

The only thing I can figure out is they are burning the 3 flat guys before the first climb. It's not like Noval, Grivko or Iglinksy will be instrumental on the climbs.

But I'm scratching my head too.

Contador wants a stage win, and he wants to be absolutely sure he will get it. Although I doubt he'll need the gap to be less than 10 minutes at the base of the Pailheres.

I think even pacelining at 50kph has got to be wearying after awhile. We'll see in a while what the result is.
