Gesink: "I'm only really good above 1800 meters... this one was too low, only 1300 meters."

He's right too... he seems to get better as the climb progresses, whereas the others get worse. Well, I say: bring on the Tourmalet! ;)

yes bobby g:rolleyes: ...your a lucky boy imo.

I really hate this defensive mode from El Pistolero... is not his style... Everybody was expecting a bloodbath... I know that Andy is the one who has to attack and try to gain more time but AC is not that kind of person who waits until the TT to gain La Maillot jaune...

I seriously doubt that. Perhaps off Schleck but nothing from Contador. AC/AS are watching each other with 3 more major mountain stages left they know that Menchov will blow, as he always does, on at least one of those. This tour has only 2 possible winners and only one likely winner, Contador.
Menchov is likely to be stronger on a long flat TT. That's really not Contador's forte. He needs his TTs to be shorter, and hilly.

Alberto is more concerned about losing time than gaining time. Solid tactics for hard stages in week three. Andy was possibly the biggest loser today because his TT is a question mark.

It may be boring for all of us, but it's a hard race, these guys aren't immortal. I predict Tuesday will be a bit more interesting.

LA has not been contributing at all for the teams comp for the last week, it is klodi, levi and horner, choosing today to bash him for dropping of the back is only a week late, nice and topical there.

Oh, so sorry I did not check your time schedule before I posted, did not know that was a requirement here./[sarcasm off]. Get real.
I have said it several times over the past week. I said it again today because he was yacking again in an interview about helping levi and the team and did neither when he obviously just packed it in. Ill say it again tomorrow when he does the same thing, if you don't like it and it gets you so upset maybe you should make use of the ignore function, otherwise get a clue.

I tend to agree.

He certainly got stronger as the climb went on.
tomorrow's climb could be good for him too.

And where was your God again?

This is Gesink's style, riding at his own pace. And a pretty high pace at that. He doesn't like accerations.

I know he was out the back but I am still proud of him. He is doing well.

leave them be ACF - they will never get it..

And he will never be right about this, so I don't think you get it.

Man, Cuddles sh!tting the bed has really caused some strange behavior from you guys. I would suggest you breathe a little and just accept he isn't going to win.
