ON TOPIC: How the hell do these guys warm up for a climb that starts from the gun at this pace?

That would obviously be the difference between Samu, Rodriguez, and other guys who are probably weaker but in front today.

I actually expect them not to get dropped later on.

I hope Moreau gets away. He could get himself into the polka dot jersey group.

EDIT: I assume they will let Armstrong go. He's 40 minutes down and not a threat to any one.

Can someone explain why the **** does ASO put two hardest stages on a Tuesday and a Thursday!?

and what they should have done? End the race on a Monday or Tuesday?

Andy has no team-mates left, he might as well attack!

Hmmm... 140 km left, Contador and VDB2 still have around 8 teammates between them. Seems like a terrible idea.

So will Armstrong do any work or just sit on?

EDIT: Have to say this team GC battle just seems silly. I know it is meaningful to the two teams duking it out, but it really does seem silly.

He is working now. He wants the stage.

Van de Walle and Fedrigo with Cunego and Moreau chasing Lance and Sandy.

More attacks in the yellow jersey group. Noone getting away. Crazy!

Noone is sitting still.

No soft-pedallying today.
