Well, in another thread I predicted that LA wouldn't be let go in a break and wouldn't have the legs to win a stage. I was wrong on the first count but right on the second. Nicely done by Fedrigo but bummer for Barredo.

Why are you guys dissing on Lance today as well. Atleast he was in the breakaway both times and was in the sprint for the win at the end. Not all 10 in the breakaway were going to win, obviously.

Err, someone who joined in July 2010 and has 5 posts is not really in a position to be calling someone a 'troll', especially with inflammatory statements about riders accompanying your accusation.

Anyway, way to go BBox for 2 wins in a row in the high mountains!!!

I joined 1 year ago, and I don't post a lot because I have a life, among other things.

LOL. Check out the fanboy getting all riled up. :D

Armstrong did not deserve to win today's stage. Barredo did. He animated the stage and rode like a hero.

Armstrong - one of the best riders ever.

Barrego? Who?

Yeah whoops sorry, I read "July 2009" as 'July 2010'. Stupid move on my part. Anyway, I just didn't like the inflammatory stuff, I'm having fun watching the stage and all. Forget I said anything!

ETA: Thor in green again!

What were the Shack boys thinking, three decent finishers in the group and they didn't try make an early move?

Lance has a lot to learn.

Sigh

There are like a hundred threads about this. Look at them.

In short they love cancer and are allergic to greatness.

Lance tried, I have to say, but he was never beating Fedrigo and Casar in a straight up sprint.
Fanboys and girls, just accept it and no sour grapes.

This.

Lance got in the break... but it wasn't a great one for him to get a win from. Too many of them had a better sprint. I don't think he had the legs... but I thought to have a chance that he would need to make a move on the last climb... or barring that attack when Barredo did.

Riding to a sprint with that group simply was never going to work.
