Argh can anything else go wrong for thor... broken collarbone, bullied by his team to try for the green jersey because his goal for a stage win was not enough... poor sod.

Interesting. I was a bit peeved with cervelo for insisting Sastre ride the tour when he obviously wanted to do the giro/vuelta which were better targets for him IMO. weren't they supposed to be the "no-pressure-for-results-team"?

shame of Andy Schleck, he is not in the front line of the start with the other maillots (yellow, greeen, polka)

Common Andy, be an adult, stop being Baby Schleck!

I gave up on that dream over the winter when thor said he perhaps this season didnt wanna ride the tour (other objectives, age etc) and about 2hours late cn had the article saying his team would ensure that he took part. They havnt been what i would of said is "supportive" of the key riders.

Kreuziger, Roche and Armstrong all going early.

Maybe this is what Lance and Alberto were talking about in the neutral zone.

Basso and Armstrong gone, guess today there's gonna be war.

Also this might be fascinating for the Green, some serious players might not make it in time.

Was it Basso or Kreuziger??

Astana is going to be seriously hurting going after Kreuziger, no way they can let him go.

Sylvester Szmyd is there too, if he has any legs left over from the Giro Astana will have to work their *** off, and there's only 3 of them left atm. I think Riis is already thinking how he can exploit this.

Yes they can he has close to 8 minutes on him, they can let them go for 4-5 minutes then reel them in.

Wiggans trying to bridge to the escape group.
