He just caught Konovalovas before the 2nd time check. If he will win close it will be the reason.

Definitely is, but the question is how much power riders have left after 3 weeks. Still will be very surprised if AC wins it tho. Who has been able to take an extra couple of quiet days after the rest day to build up some power for this?

Well, It is reported that Cancellara was considering on focusing on the road race. I hope that is the case. People are underestimating our little course in Melborune/Geelong. Out of the sprinters I only see Freire being there and possibly Ciolek.

Cance won MSR, so i dont think Geelong will trouble him.

yes he wants the RR win, but give up TT? well, I prefer seeing a new Worlds TT champion

Geelong won't trouble him by being to hard, the issue is whether it will be to easy. If it's to easy he won't be able to attack and lose the sprinters.

Cancellara has hinted he may not be concentrating on the world time trials anymore. He's won it plenty of times, he doesn't need to keep winning it. He wants the rainbow jersey on the road. Then his career will almost be complete.

All depends on if there are splits before they get to Geelong and if the circuit is done on a high pace.

But if say a group of three or four get away after the bridge or before the bridge after the first climb, who is going to be left to chase for the other countries?

it is a course not easy for sprinters i think

next year's Copenhagen course is more for sprinters
