Don't have live feed or tv right now

...so I'm just looking at the cartoon 'live' TdF feed and reading comments here
I'm a bit dumb at this, but does Vino going off now mean that he's attacking Contador? I can't forget how he insisted last year that Team Astana was formed for him.

Vino is attacking EVERYONE at ALL TIMES. Even you.

Good tactic here by astana.. if vino gets 2 minutes or so in front, BMC and Saxo are going to have to chase..

Actually it might be a fun tactic for them to give Vino enough time to get into yellow.

They don't lose any time to Contador, the true threat, they make Astana control the pace the next week, and introduce some possible chemistry issues into the team.

Vino attacking to isolate Schleck. That's what is going on. RS should do the same but who am I to question Hog?

if it was anyone but Vino, the answer would be unequivocal: No.

With Vino, the answer is a slightly equivocal: probably not.

Could be good race strategy. But if he somehow ends in yellow? ouch. That will complicate life at the Astana dinner table.

The Astana strategy could be sound if AC can bridge to Vino or if Vino can catch the break. While I would not be too worried about Vino going for the overall, I would not want to choose who to follow, Vino or AC, if things are close in the last week. So, they just need to keep him within a certain distance, which looks to be happening right now.

Vino's gap seems to be holding at about 40 seconds. I hope we see an injection of pace once the road kicks up a bit, someone has to force a selection and I don't think Mauro Santambrogio is going to do it.

I don't think it will cause friction. I feel like Vino is committed to helping Contador.

The problem would be that it would make Astana work WITHOUT Contador having the lead. I don't think that makes much sense... making your team work when your leader is still behind in the standings.

I like this tactic. This would work well for Cadel as well

Snap. You gotta love a little bit of crazy.

He's taken like, what, 50 seconds out of the peleton on the climb so far? Can't wait to see what he does at the other end of the summit.

Vino's cadence is amazing. He must be working with a certain Miguel Indurain...
