That was one of the first questions (indeed i asked it) but i cant remember! I'll let someone else have a go because I don't really want to ask the next question!

The year in question was also the slowest tour ever

Gonzalo Aja is the only man to do what at the Tour (or in competitive professional racing full stop)?

First cyclist ever to cross the Ventoux and Tourmalet first, or something in one Tour?

Samuel Dumoulin, surely. It normally is.

How long before you realised you couldn't work Emma Pooley (or another female pro) into the answer:p

Dude, if Libertine Seguro is asking the question, I guarantee you you won't find the answer in the opening sentence of the wikipedia entry.

Emma didn't start the Route de France last year, and I can't really sell that as being Le Tour. If we'd had a similar thread about the Giro, you can guarantee I'd have been talking about her there. Most of my questions would probably have been Giro Donne based, or have had "Fedaia" as the answer, too.

Who was the last world champion to stand on the podium in the Tour (top-3 in the GC or winner of a jersey)?

I know it wasn't clear, but I meant the winner of the Road Race. (in the following year where he's wearing the stripes)
