that if there are two on any team it removes that whole country from the running, not just those on that team.

Yes i know.

I think he means the most riders in 1 tour, not in total (all the tours). I hope at least otherwise it's pretty much impossible to find out.

Whatever, i have no idea, maybe he means from all the tour editions. Good luck with that...lol

that would be even harder to find out cos you would have to go through every single tour ever and start the count again every single time.

At least with the first interpretation you can just disqualify about 20 different countries from the off - France, Belgium Italy etc etc and thereby about 90% of the riders to ever have taken part. Far easier to work out what you are looking for then.

You can also easily skim through about the first 50 editions were almost all the riders will have been from those countries.

Edit: And btw RHD is a she.

I'll go with Sweden in 2005 or close to that. Probably had 3 riders in 3 different teams back then with Bäckstedt, Lövkvist and Ljungqvist.

E: No, Magnus and Marcus we're in the same team. Dammmiiiiiit.

Considering this year alone there are 3 countries with 3 riders in 3 different teams, (Poland Denmark Canada) im assuming any record will be much higher.

Don't think it will be much higher.

What if it's Russia in the pre-Katusha times?

So let's say Russia somewhere between 2000 and 2008. Don't care to search through start lists to count or verify.

Yeah... I'll admit; I don't know the answer to my own question. I was just lost for ideas! :p
And why do people keep thinking I'm a "he"?

I'll give it an hour more. If no one else comes up with more then del1962 is next.
And... let's say from 2000 onwards.

What about France, in 2011 : 5 French teams, guys like Chavanel, Feuillu racing abroad so that's at least 7.

Di Gregorio@Astana : 8
Moinard@BMC : 9

Sorry, on my part it was more not thinking (or reading your sig..) and just typing based on the law of averages. I will endeavour to remember in future.

Rolland and Vockler on the same team, and that's just the most obvious two.

Yeah... but there were still plenty of teams with more than one Frenchman...

Well... my sig is brand new, so you'll be excused on that account.
And honestly; I'm not really offended by it, actually finds it rather amusing. :)

VERY easy, but here goes;

Renne Pottier committed suicide in 1907 and a memorial was set up where, for him?

(Try not to use internet to find the answer:D)

including all people who were banned and team time trials (u.s. postal and discovery channel and astana and garmin) there are about fifty four

It better be right, I just spend 20 minutes on wiki counting:eek:
