I want to ask the same question only about stage victories, but I don't know the answer and don't have time to look up all the gaps!

A slightly easier one:

Erik Zabel has won twelve stages, Joop Zoetemelk ten, and Alex Zülle two. But (ignoring after-the-fact disqualifications) four riders whose surnames begin with a Z have won one each. Their names, please.

Same rules as last time in the case of incomplete answers.

It may have been the environment initially but now with the train project launched in 2008 and opened in 2012 it's over for sure, valentius borealis's turn!

In Australian racing, the Herald Sun Tour, the Tour of Tasmania, and the now defunct Commonwealth Bank Cycling Classic have each had a rider win the general classification before going on the do the same at the Tour de France. Name them.

Jan Bakelants took the yellow jersey by winning the stage yesterday. He is a former winner of the Tour de l'Avenir, thought of as the proving grounds for potential future GT talents in France.

But who was the last winner of the Tour de l'Avenir to wear the maillot jaune and when?

And who was the last Tour de l'Avenir winner to win a stage of the Tour?

Johan Bruyneel (1995) and Denis Menchov (2006)?

Menchov is correct; Bruyneel isn't.

Is it Indurain?
Because I didn't really know if you meant the last winner of the tour de l'avenir or the last wearer of the yellow jersey.
Or maybe there's a winner of the tour de l'avenir who wore yellow after 1995.
