Looking at the profile of the stage menchov won, it's 10 times better than that 2x alpe bs they are trying to sell as stage of the century.

Is it Indurain?
Because I didn't really know if you meant the last winner of the tour de l'avenir or the last wearer of the yellow jersey.
Or maybe there's a winner of the tour de l'avenir who wore yellow after 1995.

Indurain, as he wore yellow more recently than Bruyneel (Paris '95).

I dont have the answer but looking at the Orica GE situation where Impey had a chance to take yellow but team orders decided that he was not allowed to because he was born in the wrong country, makes me wonder, when was the last time the leaders jersey passed from 1 teammate to another in a gt.

I believe it was 2008 from Fränk Schleck to Carlos Sastre. In 2001 Jens Voigt took the jersey from Stuart O'Grady, only to see O'Grady taking it back next day.

Just read that you wrote gt and not Le Tour, so it must be when Castroviejo lost the red jersey to Alejandro Valverde in last year's Vuelta.

Either way I was first with the correct answer, so here is the next question:

Who was the last rider to win on the Champs-Élysées in his first Tour?

Define mtf and bunch sprint. Must be cat 1 or HC to count? How big a bunch before it's a bunch sprint?

Would be funny to see a repeat of the 2003 Vuelta situation when some unknown youngster called Rodriguez who had been told in no uncertain terms to lose the jersey to his teammate Serrano, saw Serrano caught behind a crash in the sprint, panicked and stopped pedalling to try to finish behind as far back as possible.

Never seen a GC leader as terrified to be on the podium as purito after that stage.

If nobody specified flat, we have our answer.
He specified that it'd have to be a 50 man bunch, which it was at the bottom of the hill, but since there was splits, I doubt it counts.
