Whether Wiggins likes it or not, the fact that he is a tour winner and because of the manner it was achieved he will be under constant scrutiny this season both in action and in words.

he should like it, considering "tour winner = suspicion" was exactly the kind of standard he liked to apply to others.

Now that Ligget and Sherwin are available will Sky give them a job? They'd be right at home spewing about Sky. Would hardly have to change the script.

Ligget and Sherwen are available?

You raised my hopes there. id like to here a good explanation for why you did that.

The only explanation I can offer you is that you are a word masochist and listening to Ligget and Sherwin murder with words the images you are watching on your screen gives you a disturbing amount of pleasure :D

T&R, Sky and Leinders

With the latest 'news' on Leinders, only the dumbest mofo could still seriously maintain Sky hired him to treat saddle sores.

My tolerance level re: Sky, UCI, and the Brittish press has peaked.
It's time for some people to wake up and start inquiring.

Nick Harris from the Daily Mail (US) giving the proper example:
Any T&R process would involve everyone from Team Sky sharing what they know about doping, from departed coach Sean Yates (a long-time close friend of Armstrong), departed doctor Geert Leinders (linked to a systematic doping programme at a former team) and departed coach and former rider Bobby Julich (who recently admitted past doping) to riders including Wiggins, widely seen as the poster boy for a new clean era.

Could a T&R commission force (ex)riders, docs and DSs to declare under oath?

Realistically speaking: what coud a T&R commission achieve, and what could the consequences be for Team Sky?

If you're citing the Daily Mail as a credible source, we're stuffed.

The Daily Mail are the only UK media group prepared to do some digging on Sky.

The BBC, Guardian or any of the Murdoch press wouldn't dare question the achievements of ''our brave British boys''.

Maybe you should read the actual quote instead of looking for excuses why a legitimate issue is not credible.

edit: beaten to it, but my point still stands

The Brit press has never been impartial to Brits. So why believe others over the mail?

Guardian has been a Sky love fest as much as any murdoch rag!

Does questioning why Sky had a clearout of dodgy staff after a monumental year qualify as "smearing"?

If it was the Independent or Telegraph, I'd have more confidence in the motives being quality journalism. With the Mail I just see a posh tabloid whose only difference to the Sun, Star and Sport is the lack of tits.

The latest news on Leinders? Yep only the dumbest fob could figure out he was conducting a doping programme at Rabobank. We knew that yesterday and last week. Does that mean he was conducting a doping programme at Sky?
