They ask what car I drive? Useless survey. They don't even have Holden which a sizable portion of Aussies drive. Don't even have parent company GM down. Great survery dude. Great survey!

Obviously not too worried about their penetration into the Australian market.

What if Porte's childhood car was the classic family Holden station wagon?

Or what about the Americans and GM owned brands?

Of course Vauxhall sells more.

Well, now we can safely conclude that the theories about Nordhaug sucking because he left Sky were wrong. Today he was just as strong as he was last year, even with all the problems he's had in the build up.

This has to be the poorest survey design and execution I have ever seen. The sampling methodology will lead to so much self selection bias that the results will be fundamentally meaningless, and then on top of that they cant be bothered to do some basic quality checks on the script. How embarrassingly poor, should have paid a bit more to get the pros in instead of these Repucom chancers.

So basically what we're saying is this is yet another example of how utterly incompetent Team SKY are, and yet they apparently run an extremely efficient doping program? Not sure what a survey has to do with doping? Did USPostal do one and SKY are mindlessly following their example as they supposedly are with everything else?

So the theories that they have 10 x better training and "science" at sky are bull****.
If they were, how comes only the wiggins train experiences these ups and downs.

This has nothing to do with Sky, I wouldn't expect a cycling team to know how to run a survey. But the company they have hired clearly haven't a clue.

Sorry, just thought it it was about SKY, my mistake.

You're right, they are gunning for every single GT and week-long stage race...that makes it much more egregious than USPS...

For the team with the most sophisticated training and marginal gains, they sucked. Does marginal gains only work at stage races and grand tours?

Biopassport means they pretty much have to. Otherwise they probably would just go Tour and Worlds only, in accordance with what the general public in Britain knew of cycling before the wheel was reinvented. If you're going all out for the Tour, you've got to be posting similar values all year round, doped or clean, otherwise the values stand out like a sore thumb and you get a high score in the suspicion index.

(note to British posters: this is for what the layman is aware of, not what British cycling fans are aware of)

So you think they aren't using transfusions, but doing something else presumably?

I'm interested to see if there is a negative correlation between the GWXXXX test being announced and dear team sky's performance.

That and a GWXXXX body picture thread for those testing positive (from all teams).

And the inevitable link to both contador's head thread and pics of those who may not yet have tested positive or had Uci cover it up for them.

Sky's classic season was seriously bad. I don't understand how marginal gains only applies to five guys from a team of 20 plus.

Marco Pinotti favoured this tweet from Digger_forum (posts on here occasionally I think) on twitter.

Pretty interesting I thought. Evans has made some subtle comments about Sky too.

Pretty clear that BMC think (or at least highly suspect) that Sky's GC Tenerife gang were doping last year.

I respect Pinotti for his personal choices but he has no right suggesting that others are doping, given the teams he has ridden for. That said I don't think he has implied as much.

Why not? Does it matter which teams he has ridden for?

Several pros and managers have intimated that Sky is doping. I think that is some of the most daming evidence against Sky. Riding next to people for several years will give you a good feel for what their capabilities are. You will know something is up when the those capabilities dramatically change.

Oh I didn't know the quote was his tweet :p Was just going by what I've seen from him in the past.

How many times has he called out his managers and teammates? Of course it doesn't invalidate any points he makes, but if he wants to have a proper anti-doping stance he should be starting a lot closer to home.

Strange to see the same posters who tell me everyone is doping using ambiguous tweets from other pros as evidence of Sky doping.

Regarding that tweet, the Ardennes squads are a mixture of the classics team and the stage racing team. You had Kiriyenka, Uran, Henao and JTL, all of which had everyone so suspicious when they rode Pais Vasco.

you think?

you think? if your referring to the same observations that i have seen here in the clinic they are such 'subtle allegations' that the pros / managers discussing sky were probably really talking about sky training not sky doping

of course some here in the clinic can read 'doping' in even the blandest statement

'most damning evidence?'.....................hardly
