I imagine he's happy to concentrate on racing without the pressure of the goldfish bowl that is the TDF and all the doping questions, and why shouldn't he be. Imagine being asked in your job every single day the same question (asked numerous different ways but all of the same subject matter), over and over for 3 weeks. And no amount of answers and explanations satisfies the questioners so they continue to ask the same questions every day and every answer is analysed and dissected in public. All the while under pressure to get your job done successfully. That would possibly make me lose my rag a wee bit too. But hey 'it's part of the job' and 'a legacy of the sport's past' I hear you cry

I can't remember when BW used to think talking about doping was a good thing but your memory may serve you better. Just can't recall him being that specific about the need or the desire to be talking about doping.
