Sorry but when is it correct to bring a crash talk to the clinic? Tomorrow? But tomorrow is 2 days after the anniversary of a riders death?!!!! Maybe the day after tomorrow? . . . .

Perhaps as a mod you can tell me what crashing has to do with the clinic, I mean can you supestar mods and the clinic 12 ascertain if someone is doping by how they crash.

Pleas tell me how it is on topic in the clinic, just so I am well informed.

There might be a problem for sky. Do they have the ability to call Dr.Ferrari during the race like Johan did in 2000 when Pantani attacked? That was really useful! Lance was like 'hey Johan call Ferrari' 'Johan: Okay Lance no problem!'

They should start calling Ferrari during races, he can actually tell em what to do lol :D

I think some bags are going to be called in early. Where's Sean Yates when you need him?

With all that firing and resigning and enhanced scrutiny, the logistics and supply lines might have been affected...

Wet and slippery so motoman couldn't take off road delivery routes...

Do grow up, crashing has f-all to do with doping, I know a lot of people don't like Wiggo and take great pleasure in him crashing, but it makes you come across as somewhat pathetic people

Don't worry. By the end Wiggins still might be able to beat Danilo DiLuca--provided he does not throw a tantrum and cry his way out of the Giro.

Interesting line from Sir Dave Brailsford on criticism of Sky's teamwork. Says it actually has the effect of bringing the guys together.

Lost your mask? Forgot, you did not have one.

Wggo downhilling like a granny is a marginal loss.

Most of it, except the last 22k as I had to go out. I will watch the rest later though, but what that has to do with people getting off on someone crashing is news to me.

Did you see Wiggins's crash? It occurred when he already fell off the lead group.

Nibs crashed when leading the race.

Wait till you get home. You'll love the race. It was awesome.

Just the little fact that sir wiggins seemed to be struggling going uphill; hanging in the back, missing digs from other contenders, losing connection with the main group of contenders... Even prior to the wet parts.

So far, he has not impressed - in the sense that he hasn't ridden like a champion, and with confidence - he looks frail and not in top form.

Who knows, maybe when they hit the real mountains - if hell make it that far-he'll be there. Based on his current performance, I have to doubt that.

A rest day transfusion will cure what ails ya.

You normally are a good fellow to talk to, now you seem to be somewhat agitated. To say the least.

Nobody laughs on Wiggo falling like a tourist, people laught because he downhilled like a frigging granny.

Please, go watch the final 22K, Benny Hill would be proud of Brad.

Rest day will be too late.

Otherwise they need to go full *** in the mountains.

I am pretty sure these guys are going micro transfusions these days, probably a 100 ml every other day or so.

Winning these things is a lot harder when you don't have a super charged Froome dragging your ass around the route.

Never. Clinic for doping. Pro Road Racing for anything else. Simples.

But tomorrow is 2 days after the anniversary of a riders death?!!!! Maybe the day after tomorrow? . . . .

It's never on topic in the clinic, but it's particularly bad taste to cheer a crash, by Wiggans, Nibali, Uncle Tom Cobley or anyone else within hours of a stage dominated by the memory of a man whose skull was caved in in such a crash.

Crash Discussion, certainly, in the appropriate forum.

S****** at a harmless Uran style fall off the bike, no probs. Fine, absolutely.

Cheer a downhill crash like nibali, wiggins at speed? You're a sh*t.

That shows a poster's moral failing.

If he bungles the TT, he'll save that pint for the TDF. He might need it there with an expected FR Froome rocketing through that bucolic, Gallic scenery.

Still too early to write Wiggins out of the Giro anyway. Ivan Basso descends like a granny, arrived at the Giro losing time in splits in the bunch in flat stages and lost more time than Wiggins did today in the same stage 3 years ago, still was the best in the mountains and won the race.

Great job missing the point.

And insults are not allowed, next time you will be handed a ban.

He definitely didnt have a superior train in sky, I think you are mistaken with this:

Apologies if I didn't make that clear.. The superior lead out for Cav was at HTC.. He was frankly shafted at Sky.

OPQS ain't HTC, but I think he'll improve now, he has to learn to use whatever train is available... Just like most other top sprinters

Thanks for letting us know where or what can be discussed - you are one of the best mods here, oh hold on ...

The Clinic is the only place to discuss doping, nothing says what else can be discussed here - as you say, it's simple.

I haven't read anywhere here where someone cheered the crash - but elsewhere there were reports that people in the press room did, which appears to have been an over exaggeration.
