Praising the guy for not getting dropped when nobody is trying to drop him is still a bit soft regardless of how bad he has been descending recently.

But to read Walsh's tweet it clearly only rained on Wiggins. Now if Nibali had crashed .... oh hang on.

Why would Dowsett, a British rider leave the all conquering, super clean British squad?

Simple, he wasn't going to achieve his personal ambitions at Sky. Realistically he wouldn't even be at the Giro, let alone given free reign to target the stage he won, by some soft pedaling beforehand.

I did wonder when he left, but after some thinking about it late last year, it was clear it was a good move for him in theory, and now with a result to show it was.

Good luck finding people suggesting it's hard to be convinced that riders at Astana dope.

Any position should be consistent across both teams.

In Wiggins defence he did admit to: "descending like a girl".

Like a 'gutsy' girl from Kilburn who lost her confidence in the wet after shaving her sideburns off?

Do you know those riders are clean, or is it your opinion?

How do you know?

It's your opinion.
Hey do you have a thing with the brits , I see your from Aus do you no your idol Evans(Mapei, Dr Ferrari) has an even sketchier past than any one in Sky, all I see is BS in every thing you post about Sky, why? Isit because they ride dominant in the mountains, look at Kangert pulling for km after km. I bet you didn't post that he is doped, no i thought not.

"Britain's Shanaze Reade wins the second round of the BMX Supercross World Cup in Argentina."
The BMX team train at the facility in Manchester where SKY are HQ'd. They share the same structure as the rest of the trackies and SKY pro team. Does this mean that Shanaze is doping too?
Garlic Ho and the others may well have an enlightened view on this topic.

You do that but i will predict that it will not have a big number of posts, because no one will defend them as everyone here will acknowledge they are doping or probably doping.

You really mean that? So you dont think Vino's gold was a triumph for clean cycling? Narrowly beating Uran?

No I think the reason behind the thread not having a large amount of posts is because there are limited Astana fans, but primarily because they can not match the stage racing success which Sky have managed to attain in the recent past.

For some riders I know and others I have a strong opinion. I will not tell you how I know, that information is up to me and not for a public forum. However, I am happy to amend my post to say that "in my opinion these riders are clean" and "in my opinion there are some riders who were not" and others I do not know anything about but I would suspect that these riders are clean too.
What I do not say, unlike many posters in this thread is that "so and so is definately taking drugs". This is utterly wrong.

stop saying you know riders so well you know they don't dope, If your wife for the last 20 years was cheating on you you wouldn't know despite knowing her better than any person in the world. How many people do you think have lived through this and will never know? Just coz you've interviewed someone doesn't mean you can vouch for them. You can't vouch for ANYONE besides yourself.

ps. the above applies to a lot of people on here

Interestingly, Sky has not ridden the Giro dominantly thus far this year.

Annnnnd, there is lots to be sceptical about with them. Doh.

Did Geert Leindeers spend 80 days a year alongside her?

Edit: Or was he just part of the road team structure?

Or was it 40 days?

why would he entertain the idea of doping in his last year? that would be crazy. I spoke to someone who knows him quite well and he said Vino wanted to show what he could do when clean. He said he had no reason not to trust him. Also, Astana have had a very strong anti doping policy for a couple of years, you may say a ZERO TOLERANCE policy

disclaimer: i'm from kazakhstan but like the brits here I would never let nationality prejudice my views, can you imagine supporting someone just coz they were born within the same political/geographical borders as yourself elle oh elle

You think Evans doped?

Did you tell all your super high up friends in the peloton who give you all that super information no one else has access to. What was their response?
