So you think mocking someone's appearance makes an argument valid? It is a childish indulgence. You want to make a point, make a point,

It was Sir himself whom made the point. And it would seem to me that he is on a current PR exercise in which he chooses who to dismiss or mock himself. Leaving him with the select few press companies he desires. That's a valid point Jimmy and far from child like. Lets hope come the summer the European press are more probing in their questioning of Sky. Because as you know there is no depth in the English press.

So you call someone out for being childish and 20 minutes before that you come out with this

I'm sorry, no1? I don't do text speak. Type properly and I'll respond

Come on lets stop the 'I'm holier than thou' crap.

Regarding Sky still getting flack, Parrulo summed it up with this

Parrulo said:
Movistar got 1-2 with the biggest climbing talent of the last decade (or more) and with one of the biggest dopers of the last decade, that is why no1 is having a go at them. Because no1 really has any faith in valverde and people are willing to give quintana the benefit of the doubt.

a bit different from the out of nowhere british GC explosion of wiggins and froome.

The reason Sky get so much flack is in part to their 'holier than thou' attitude. Which starts to come unstuck, when they're asked 'hard' questions and refuse to answer them/deny all knowledge of the past. Without being on the inside of the cycling goldfish bowl, I'm guessing it's like all other fields those inside know everything that goes on in the bowl.

If Sky want 'respect' they need to prove they're clean because cycling fans over the years have heard that line time and time again from various teams, only for those teams to be exposed as a bunch of cheats.

Now the answer(which I have seen given) 'but Sky are British, therefore don't cheat or lie' isn't a truthful answer, because it isn't true and is as bad as the answers that leave Dave Brailsford's mouth. Although to be fair to Brailsford at least he answers questions unlike Hayman.

That's not true, David Walsh spent some time on their secret island. Wait what's that he works for the same people who own Team Sky.

Also does anyone know when that event in Manchester is taking place?

Have News Corp bought BSKYB now? I know they were rumoured to be interested in taking a controling interest.

They don't own it fully, it's around 40%. Which in practice is a controlling interest.

There are very few, if any anti-Sky clinicians. People who post about Sky doping are passionate about anti-doping, and cannot believe someone who was groupetto fodder for so long can now crush the peloton beneath their heels.

No, there are many full on anti sky clinicians, as you liked to call them. I think a proper discussion, with a pint as I've done with many other sports fan, would be the way forward. Though I imagine all the "clinicians" would hate a public discussion?

They needed clearance from the govt in respect of market share of media/press ownership. Looked like it was going to be a white wash in News Corps favour then all the News of the World hacking, paying coppers for info, ditching email stuff came out and the govt thought it wouldn't make good press

Given your lack of time here in the clinic, I'll respond with this very simple answer: you're wrong.

You point out a single (real, > 20 posts) poster who is "anti-Sky" and has NEVER commented similarly on another rider, team or cycling official, and yeah, I'll meet you for that hot chocolate. Beer is not my beverage of choice.

Dear Wiggo is correct.

I dislike Sky, although I don't dislike them as much as I dislike other teams. But at present they're the main talking point here in the clinic. Just wait until some team gets busted and Sky fans will be longing for Sky to be the main talking point here.
It's also fun seeing (some) Brits, stake their heritage that Sky are clean because they're British.

then name 10 posters registered pre july 2012 that only contributed with anti sky material to the clinic.

it should be very easy if you are so fast on calling BS

Trolling this, trolling that, so not one single person from here would meet for a drink to discuss? I've met with fellow football and cricket fans, it relly shows you clinicians to be utterly spineless

Yeah I thought my point in requesting only 1 poster that met this criteria would have registered in MV's brain, but clearly not. 10 is not very generous at all ;)

Regardless, this is perhaps the simplest hypothesis to prove in all clinic postings. Click on a poster's name and find all posts by <User>, or do a global search for nothing, threads only, and enter the poster's name.

What you're looking for is predominantly Sky or Sky rider threads being listed, and a cursory check of other threads they post in where their posts simply spew more hate at Sky.

GO.

More than happy to meet you for a drink, but you started this little charade by saying you'd meet anti-Sky people.

Seems you are too gutless or clueless to prove that they even exist. MV is a lawyer (ie schooled and good with words), you two should pool your conspiracy energies and prove me wrong.

I dislike sky because they are turning cycling into a farce (again). They make the sport boring and predictable. What other team has dominated this much since us postal?

Oh, and the fact that theyre doing it all in the name of clean cycling makes it even more annoying.

Sport is full of them, its only the ones in soundbites from Sky staff that get the ridicule

Because Jimmy they are stating the bleeding obvious as if it IS a "marginal gain" and people fall for it hook line and sinker. Warming down being the funniest. And as you well know every "one percenter" you just posted is used not only by every team but by every Sunday coffee shop lycra boy.

"Marginal gains" gets mocked and ridiculed because its complete BS used by spinmeisters and PR merchants to explain away unexpected improvement.
