While I can appreciate why people post in this thread given the performances of Sky I find it somewhat amusing that some of the Contador fans have taken upon themselves to be the crusaders of all that is good and fair in cycling. ;)

I wasn't talking about clinic but about the fact that people think you can win against sky.

No one is crusading. They're just laughing at the farce the sport has become.

The things are being going ridiculous more and more. Recent history shoulda learnt us. One summer it happened Wiggins got genius inside him, then the same with Froome and Richie... I do not believe in miracles. They made three Lances in a few years.

I love that people were saying it will be hard for Sky to control that stage :D

That would have been Messr's Harmon and Smith I imagine (not seen the stage yet - I can surmise) and if you havent realised that that is what they are paid for you have much to learn about maipulation of fans Grasshopper

Porte beating Tony Martin would be the least surprising thing sky have done in this race. I would be pretty shocked if Porte doesnt win tomorrow and puts serious time into Contador

Actually, they have taken upon themselves to frown upon doping (at least more so) now Contador is not doing so well.

Nah. Everyone knows doping is rife. Sky are more obvious than most and have hooked up 16 guys on the program.

The rest are just on maintenance.

You can't watch cycling and be outaged by doping. That doesn't work.

Well, and that does depend on what the others do (or at least try to do).

Only 2 riders tried to do anything today, the rest just hang on.

Truly miserable conditions though

He's the favorite. He hasn't won it yet. Why can't people show a little patience and wait for the win to actually go down.
its only tomorrow. For now there's today's far more ridiculous result.

Sure you can. Just read the posts in the Professional Forum during a race and then at the end switch to the Clinic.

No everyone is laughing over there as well.

Given the course and how crap Contador is I think the GC 1-2 is very much alive. Spilak and Quintana can challenge too but Henao appears to be stronger than both of them (and his Algarve TT was only poor not horrible).

Of course. Henao will ride the TT of his life tomorrow. Maybe they will get 1-2 in the stage as well. Who would be surprised at this point?

Seemed like a good, well timed attack to me. Cancellara-esque? Really?? I thought winning stages by attacking from groups and holding off chasers was quite a well used tactic. Or no? It always comes down to a sprint? What would be the normal way to win such a stage? Or is it just the fact he is even in such esteemed company that sets your dopedar a-tingling spidey?

Richie rich doing a Cancellara would do the trick for people who watched cycling before team Sky was formed.

I can't wait to find out what Sky is on. Hopefully it won't be ten years from now. Whatever the truth is I want to know and based on the last 20 years as well as what we see today... me thinks drugs are still the real superstars of cycling.
