Well there's hardly likely to be anti Mongolian posting in those threads, is there?

Nice, that's an answer but not to my questions. Would you care to try?

I think it's pretty poor form to suggest it's anti-Brit. I favor them if anything, personally. I'm sure that applies to most English speakers.

You didn't get my point Red. Read it again.

The question / post was ambiguous. It could be read as

1. (in your opinion) Why is there so much anti-Brit sentiment
OR
2. Why is it your opinion the sentiment is anti-Brit

I think.

YMMV.

TTer wins TT

Meltdown.

Pantani was a climber who won on climbs. Must have been clean then:rolleyes:

And Wiggins was an average tter at best until his magic transformation. Hell even at the time of his original transformation a 29 year old (peak wiggins) was fighting it neck and neck with a 24 year old (young) Tony Martin in Mendrisio. Now that Tony Martin has had 5 more years too his pean and Wiggins 5 years away from it, he wins.

All that is redundant though when one considers Wiggins was saying 2 years ago you need to weigh less than paper to win tts. Now he is saying the opposite, that you need to put on weight, and oh that works too, what a joke.

BTW is this post you aknowledging that when Wiggins the tter outclimbed Nibali on those TDF climbs and those Vuelta climbs and rode with superdoped Armstrong and Contador and Schlecks in the 2009 TDF, that was dodgy? You know him being a tter and all and those being mountains and all. Or will you find a way to spin that too?

Actually, Wiggins put this victory down to being at his "tour racing weight" and beating Martin on watts per kg on the drags.

Though I'm pretty sure the 72kg he claimed is higher than the weight claimed when he was winning the Tour

There is a reason why dude, on a day like this, want to discuss Contadors Vuelta in a thread about Sky.

Dude had actually chance to do that when it was more topic, last week, in the proper thread, but didn't took it.

Show whats motivates Skybots and it clearly aint clean cycling.

Speaks about the Clinic as an asylum when it possible went down that path the moment these people followed cycling in 2011 and tried to convince the board Sky was riding clean.
Quoted for truth.

You're right, his results this year really made this result predictable

Thanks. I don't think it's a particularly good point of reference for any of those guys as applies to the Worlds result.

I agree, Benotti asked for a comparison between Wiggins and Martin this year though so I gave him one.

I agree. His time trial results this year suggested he would beat everyone but Tony Martin. As Tony Martin was clearly way below his best (he only beat Kiryienka by 21s compared to 1.26m last year), then the result was entirely predictable and expected. Of course, this doesn't mean he was performing clean. It's just the ridiculous over the top reactions to his performance I take issue with. The California and Tour of Britain time trials were just as good in my opinion.

It's all become a bit tedious again. Hasn't it.

A question for you Gooner, why is it, in your opinion, given the diverse nationalities of posters on here including some close rivalries, is there so much anti Brit posting in the Sky/Wiggins/Froome threads?

Wiggins wins.........pages of angry sarcastic sneering.........Contador wins..........,....none............join those dots guys........they lead back to your own prejudices

Contador wins, his fans accept he's doping and are fans anyway,

Wiggins wins, the Sky fans go into Simple Jack mode.

That's the difference - if Sky fans accepted that 'wiggins is doping but I am a fan anyway' this thread would be almost non existent.

Can you paste a list of names of people in this thread who are saying Wiggins is innocent of doping are not doping, please.

Spiffing

Why the faux indignation and straw man 'people are saying Wiggins is innocent' arguments when such opinions are barely uttered on here?

Perhaps also an apt time to point out a quarter of respondents on here voted that Contador would win the Vuelta clean? Seems your ire is misplaced

Except that, within seconds of Wiggins winning, it isn't the Skybots posting to the thread. The bots may argue, but generally as a response to others. Check the times the Sky thread has lain dormant, the resurrection posts are again generally not done by the bots.

Well, that somewhat depends on how you happen to define a bot. . .

It does rather look that way....

And it is the same little bunch every time.

Skybots exist......but only in the heads of our angry little friends. ;)

I'm failing to see all these people claiming Wiggins is riding clean, certainly since yesterday. Can anybody direct me to all these posts by the 'Skybots'.

Some obvious doper wins. His thread gets pumped. Everyone agrees he's doped and has a laugh.

Except, of course, when that rider is Wiggins, or until recently, Froome. Then we suddenly have some very upset people entering the thread whining about the sarcasm, throwing not so subtle hints Wiggins might be clean as "TTer wins TT, meltdown".

this.
most come to the clinic to discuss doping, some only show indignation about others discussing doping.
whenever a Skythread gets bumped, the Skybots go in full indignation mode.
