DB:

“Unfortunately there was nothing concrete… that says to us this is undeniable”

“Whilst he maintains that position and without anything absolutely concrete to the contrary we have to take him at his word“
is that re Knaven?
If so, interesting choice of words.
would suggest they're close to dropping him.

Interesting? Once again he's washing his hands in innocence. Then again, Knaven get's what he deserves.

No worries, Knaven will either be thrown under the bus "New evidence forced us to part ways with our valued and esteemed colleague" or at the end of the year both parties will mutually decide that Knaven will be given "a chance to reorient himself and explore new career possibilities".

yeah, you're probably going to be right one way or the other.
if we're lucky, Knaven will be blacklisted and not return to cycling.

interesting? well, Brailsford's choice for the word "unfortunately" struck me as, dunno, funny or something.

I think there hands are tied as legally they can't fire him without either a positive test or confession.

caught myself swearing out loud while listening “@PaulKimmage: 40 min interview with Brailsford on CIRC.[...] Joke.

http://thecyclingpodcast.com/podcast/7- ... ing-report

Heard that interview. His messiah complex is getting more severe by the day I swear.

He also literally, verbatim, says they looked Knaven in the eyes. So it's fine. Move along now.

No he doesn't - he says nothing of the sort.

I have to say though that DB has to sack Knaven based on ZTP, or declare ZTP dead.

That could easily be sorted out with a large(ish) sum of money ...

I didn't listen to the whole interview but yes I did hear the "unfortunately" comment and yes I thought it was strange / weird ...

As it undoubtedly will be. Nobody involved wants a courtcase getting traction.

Not the UCI, not the sponsor, not the KNWU, not the Brittish Union, not the team, not Knaven. Only a few pesky newspapers and we are interested in this minor inconvenience. And that's without sarcasm, this will absolutely yield nothing at all.

If ZTP was a real thing they wouldn't have hired him in the first place
Same with Julich and others
this.
if you look at whom sky hired in key positions, people like julich, knaven, de jongh, leinders, they're all guys of whom any insider with half a brain knew they'd been rather lucky to not get exposed earlier.

Who cares? The information about Knaven has been in the public domain for a few years, ZTP is a stupid policy, Brailsford can't fire someone if he is flat out denys it anyway. There's something called employment law: you can't just tear up contracts on a rumour or speculation, which I know must come to many here as a surprise. Plus it's the Mail using it as a stick to beat Murdoch.

i think you should care.
ZTP was a flat-out, deliberate attempt at misleading the fans.
Look up 'Verdummung', if you can be bothered.

Hush now, stop seeing monsters under every bed. It was a piece of PR, something for the sponsors wary of putting their name in a dirty sport, an attempt to break from the past. Your hyperbole is wearisome, but it suits your agenda I suppose.

if you wanna keep apologizing for Sky, go ahead.
as a Brit you should care though.
if the house of cards comes down it's gonna cast some massive shadow on the Empire's sporting success.
no wonder the British lobby to put Reedie, Cookson and now Coe at key positions.
Some things better not see the light of day.

And the agenda shines through, all to lay low 'the Empire's' sporting success. It is what this place it full of, lots of hopping on the spot and white noise thrown about due to whatever sporting allegiances you have. Some of the guff is laughable, as laughable at the ZTP.

I'm more worried about all those clean Brits who will suffer from Sky's fall out.
They'll too be questioned, unfairly.

In all seriousness, owing to Sky I really do have much more respect now for a guy like Riis.
If you dope, at least have the respect to not go out there and intentionally pull the wool over the eyes of the masses the way Sky and Garmin have done. It's ugly and they'll drag so many others along in their downfall.

Oh Jimmy, so much stupidity from you in one post is amazing. How do you manage to get it worng with every sentence?

1. People can get fired for non compliance. Being a liar about doping nis quite enough. Oops there goes your argument.
2. people can get fired if bought out a reasonable amount. Oh my another reason why your argument is moronic.
3. This wouldnt have happened if they hadn;t hired him in the first place. Oh boy, how many more ways to show you are then on being crushed in the clown car?
'4. that you do not care does not mean you can just make up things like you are Dave Brailsford. You are not knighted so you simply do not have this "I can just lie" privilege. The news was not just the daily mail but hit multiple news scenes among others the Dutch media. Might have something to do with his nationality^^

Psshttt, there'something left from the Chamois hanging on your nose, better polish it off so it's nice and red again :D
