This is ridiculous.
Sean Kelly literally can't get over Froome. Froome beating Menchov, Cancellara, Evans. Commentators trying to make the course fit the ride. Too much.

Froome is like Riis circa 1995

Two Brits 1st and 2nd Tour ITT

Unkle Rupe's coin

Olympics in London

Yuck

The tour should wear a T-Shirt: Why always me?

This reminds me a little bit of the ITT few years ago when AC beat Cancellara in a Tour ITT.... But at least Wiggins is a known time trialist. Froome just might have had his breakthrough in this discipline within the last 12 months (he was also strong in the Dauphinees ITT IIRC).

I hope Brad comes out and said I had an amazing day, 51 minutes @ 510W, and then sits back and watches this thread.

For some reason this made me laugh out loud. What will his reaction this time? I am starting to think he will explode.

Wiggins his result is not that unbeliavable though. Cancellara is definitely weaker than before, Tony Martin is injured and already was not as good as last year and he's shown before he can beat the rest of them. Froome on the other hand, I don't know what to think of that...I dislike Team Sky with a passion (mostly for other reasons) but let's not come to conclusions too soon.

Even though my earlier comments suggest I think they're all on dope. :D

To summarize
2008 stage 4 TDF 29K, 33rd
2008 stage 16 TDF, 53K, 16th
2009 stage 10 Giro, 62K, 34th
2009 stage 21 Giro, 14.5K, 32nd
2010 stage 2 Giro, 2nd
2010 stage 16 Giro mountain TT, 39th
2011 stage 12 Vuelta, 2nd

Those are Froome's TT results

Let us hope Sky has the cojones to remove this guy from the Tour or the gendarmes catch him at his transfusion. Repulsive. Just when cycling seemed to be moving away from this, here comes this character to do it again. But it's too late now. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is buying this.

The bolded was a Team Time Trial.

The only other good ITT result I found was in the 2010 52K British nationals, where he was 1:22m slower than Wiggo. The Course contained one hill. (see http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/road/article/roa20100903-2010-British-Time-Trial-Championships-0)

Wiggins was at 1:04:55 (48.0616 kmh = avg)
Froom was at 1:06:17 (47.0706 kmh = avg)

So lets see. Sky are riding the best climbers off the wheel in the climbs with no effort.

Now a guy who has no right to beat fabs does so, and the other who could put it up to him beats him by a minute even though his climbing has gone through the roof....reminds me of someone.

Now this is getting suspicious. Sky are so far ahead of the rest it is just unbelievable. Even the guys on eurosport are saying we have seen teams dominate before...then laughing cause they realise who they are talking about.

Anyway innocent until proven guilt.

Cancellara barely beats Van Garderen and Chavanel.

Evans is riding per his weaker form all year. (See the Dauphine TT.) Slower than Van Garderen and Chavanel. :(

And Nibali beats Menchov.

That was in the third week, this is after 8 days, 6 of which easy for Cancellara.

Wiggins is at least expected to perform well in ITTs, I haven't a clue where Froome is getting his ITT form from. I find Froome to be the most suspicious

yes he is but that is before he dropped 20Kg, how can you reduce such muscle mass without losing power, from normal Physiology point of view, it is just impossible.

But Cancellara is top of the pile without the other two, which is on form, so still a freak result.
