Not necessarily. Plenty of other illnesses still out there like pneumonia.
But that was not what Redhead was talking about. That was corona.

Well, his personal rider thread did mention something about a family member dying, back when the news that he hadn't actually made it onto that flight to Europe first broke.
Pedrero or Sepulveda? That guy hasn’t done anything in 2 years since signing.
Maybe it was his personal rider thread where someone had asked if he had ever made it to Europe or not.
Naah, it was here, coz I was the one who asked, and I couldn't be bothered to dig up his personal rider thread.
(It was the thing that started the who thing about (preliminary) startlists)
Yeah I was talking about Sepulveda. He was pretty hyped up when he was signed but hasn’t done squat in two years. They're supposed to be climbing help. Pedrero has done well in that role in a few races last year.

Strong ride by Pedrero today. He exploded a bit when Fuglsang went again with Nibali and Pozzovivo. And the nice surprise Samitier!
Those two appear to work well together. They were supposed to be stage hunting, but it looks like these two have decided to see what they can do on GC. Both had good rides.
That's a good comparison indeed. Hopefully he can limit the damage in the largely flat timetrial. Arroyo could limit his losses due to the hillier ITT's those days.Pedrero will be the ninja of this race. He'll finish probably about 9th-12th overall just by being there-ish once the big guns have made their moves, like Tiralongo in the 2009 Vuelta. He's here to do what Arroyo used to do at the Giro until his 2010 odyssey, Pedrero isn't as good as Arroyo but the field here is a bit weaker/a few people have already been moved down the pecking order. Samitier has been somebody I've thought could do this and potentially better for a while as he was one of the better climbers on Lizarte for a while.
Because both got top 20 in a MTF? Yeah, let's overanalyse their co-operative abilities a bit more.
Telefonica clearly doesn't care for the Giro
The dark blue jersey will surely be an objective for Carretero i guess, after his Tirreno ride.
Jacobs can re-sign until 2023.

Do you know who Verona's agent is?
No, but Unzue had seemed positive about his future with the team after the Tour, so I’m hoping it isn’t Satan. Considering that he skipped juniors and signed directly as a teen with Quick Step I figured maybe he was one Spaniard like Mas not on Aquadro’s roster.
