Thousand pounds to look at Dan Martin while you're eating. Totally worth the money.
:D

I would love to dine with Sir Dave or maybe Wiggo

How much for a dinner with Alberto :D ?
I would open a crowdfunding account and buy all Gold tables to make sure I would have the table with Alberto  and then all the other "cycling legends" could share the other tables, maybe I would invite some Clinic regulars to keep them busy

when I saw this in here first I thought it was a wind up - a funny one - what kind of loser wants to sit down with these muppets and drink wine...new to cycling - froome and sky are brilliant - millar will tell all about how sky are brilliant, cycling is different these days.
Millar plays the game - brailsford loves the limelight
Over 3 grand for a table - give the money directly to charity. But sitting down with these guys drinking wine you're nothing but a fat MAMIL who wants a story for the weekend.

Two years ago I didn't imagine they'd execute this fraud for so long and really just monetizing it like Wiesel and Armstrong never imagined. We're in peak honeymoon period right now. There is no telling how long this will last. And then it's going to come crashing down. Again.

I'm not going to go to the trouble, but it would be fun to count the number of books about USPS prior to the fraud reaching a worldwide audience and the number of Sky-related books.

I don't come to the clinic often, but this thread has the potential to become as classic as the Pelotoon one. A great Post in a great thread. Hitch was so on the money making this thread.

Loving that picture too. A bit disappointed there is no "platinum" table with Walsh as the main attraction.

For a mere £30 you can attend this 'appetiser' the day before.
https://bloodwise.org.uk/event-challenges/go-event/south-east/audience-sir-dave-brailsford?

Not only will you be allowed to put questions to Sir Dave, you can listen to Tony Bliar's Spin Doctor, Alistair Campbell who's not averse to telling the odd 'porky' himself (see Iraq 'dodgy dossier' for details). Birds of a feather and all that. But 'it's all for charity' so that's OK.

Dave Brailsford is a genius. A man full of great wisdom. His quote on Geriant Thomas's book is inspirational and insightful. Sir Dave certainly knows how to make you want to go out and buy this book

This been posted yet?

Chris Hoy seems pretty intelligent so I guess Walsh wasn't involved.

I've spend far too much of my life thinking about (and chasing) black boxes.

This is one book I won't be reading.

What in the name of all that is holy is a 'latent defect'??

Google would tell you. It's a fault in something that could not have been discovered by a reasonably thorough inspection - a hidden or partially hidden defect - one that cannot be easily discovered.

I love the mattress photo!

From what I gather, this isn't a full on Sky related book.

That being said I wouldn't read the book whatsoever.

relationship between kath and cound is one I would describe as manifesting latent defect, or, manifesting a latent defect. Can someone please help me with my grammar and syntax.

latent defect, or counterfeiting Hermes Berkin handbags at ten paces.

Its an undercard to the Jerone Blijlevens v Bobby Julich match-up.

Dana White is busy in the gym power-lifting and cross-fitting[sic] for when he gets in between the fighters before the bout to separate the unadulterated pituitary excretion of testosterone

And they praise themselves with 'discovering latent defects' and 'cutting down on infections'?

Woeful idiots, should be locked up in jail.
I suppose you might think that if it had been a criminal offence, back in the days, it would have justified transportation to Australia.

Syed is full-on pro athlete/ con testing. Wrote a column in The Times the day after Sharapova, essentially saying she was within the rules, so cool, and who are WADA to move the goalposts.

If the Sky recipe is 'new drug so not banned' he is your perfect cheerleader.

Just wanted to make a list of this because a) its getting really ridiculous and b) I think it ties in well with the theory I've said before that Sky and the whole gravy train as a whole are all in to milking as much out of the cow as possible. If they get caught down the liner they will have made such a killing from this anyway that it will have financially been totally worth it doping. Its not like you pay back the money you made from selling BS books to brainless morons).

I'm making this thread because I just heard the hillarious news that Wiggins is releasing ANOTHER book .

So we have

Froome autobiography.
Geraint Thomas autobiography (upcoming)
Dave Brailsford autobiography (upcoming)
Bradley Wiggins autobiography 1
Bradley Wiggins autobiography 2
Bradley Wiggins autobiography 3 (upcoming)
Inside Team Sky.
Dave Brailsford mastermind.
Dave Millar autobiograhy 1 (yes I know he's not IN sky atm but he's their number 1 cheerleader and close to all of them + close to BC)
Dave Millar autobiography 2 (upcoming)
Ellingworth autobiography (wtf even the 2nd tier coach of the team has 1)
Cav autobiography.

What else is there?

I think I remember at least 2 or 3 more ive seen. there was one about how sky conquered the world or some **** like that. Also one from ned boulting (saying ITV aren't part of Sky is like saying that the CIA isn't part of the US government).

What other ones have I forgotten.

How does compare to other champions in the past - Armstrong (he had about 3 or 4 iirc + Brunyeel) or Indurain, Contador, Merckx etc.

Seems to me to be a massive part of the Sky racket.

On a similar note what about documentaries, which is same principle.
So far I remember a Wiggins one by Sky, a Wiggins one by ITV, (also a Wiggins one by ES?). A Froome one by ITV and maybe a Cav one by ITV too.

Not sure what your point is?
