Paul, the most important thing to reduce the risk of riders doping is to create an environment where the riders understand that all we want from them is to be their best and no more!! We try and support the riders as much as possible to improve their performances through training science, good coaching, nutrition etc so that they feel fully supported. The riders are tested very regularly too but rather than trying to scrutinise and catch the guys the best approach by far is prevention!

Not a bad answer. The question of sponsor pressure to perform has always been there.

I just noticed Sky are not invited to the Strade Bianche. What the hell? With Löfkvist being 1st in 2009, 2nd in 2010, Rogers 3rd in 2010 and Edvald 4th in 2009, it makes no sense whatsoever to not invite them.

Ed - we are racing there as far as we're aware

They are not in the official press release by RCS sport
