No offence taken. I'm steeled for chaos in the general board when I weigh in with my opinions of Sepp Kuss riding like this in his third GT on the bounce while trying to tiptoe around Clinic wordings at the same time as acknowledging that for some reason lots of people actually want him to win. I just wanted to make sure that you were just memeing and weren't actually trying to conflate the dominance of an etapa reina in a GT with winning a few bunch sprints in a podunk race with a weak field and a terrible parcours, as we have quite a few British posters who might actually take offence at the belittling of their national Tour, even though it's more about the disappointment of what it is vs. what it could be than any slight on the country or its parcours possibilities.its just a meme, i thought it was funny how it fits, nothing personal
Jumbo-Gewissma as suggested by @Devil's Elbow.OK let's brainstorm, there's obviously NL Postal but that's so close to the actual name of the Dutch postal service (PostNL) that I feel there must be a better way to combine the two
If ever anybody wants to make jokes about something being really obvious or blatant, Portuguese cycling usually has a precedent.I think Libertin seguros would agree but also can't help but make a reference to an obscure Portuguese team nobody knows at every opportunity
Yeah, blame the others... They were already on this path before the pandemic.it all started that day 3 years ago on Planche des Belles Filles. they said "enough is enough".
I guess this is where someone jokes that they're dominating with a fisherman, ski jumper and 'SUPER' domSky dominated the GTs with a track rider, a classic specialist and especially with the guy who was disqualified for cheating/holding the car uphill
In terms of this Vuelta, yes I'd agree. But only because we have become conditioned to expect a certain level of performance from Roglic and Vingegaard. Their big WTF moments have already come and passed.Kuss is the only WTF story of the 3.
Who can support this team? Doing this sh## show? This is a very dark day to cycling
Jingoism and lots of people like to see the underdog win...No offence taken. Kudos for admitting to the former, but with regards to the latter, I already mentioned that in the brand spanking new Sepp thread, that it's kind of difficult for me to see anybody riding in Jumbo-Visma colours as the underdog.Jingoism and lots of people like to see the underdog win...
I knew when I wrote that, the optics, but I think a domestique role is seen as an underdog, and comparatively to the team, he is the least likely of the main 3 to be vying for the win...until they transform Wout, and he wins the Giro...Kudos for admitting to the former, but with regards to the latter, I already mentioned that in the brand spanking new Sepp thread, that it's kind of difficult for me to see anybody riding in Jumbo-Visma colours as the underdog.
