It would hurt Van Aert to have more teammates in the finale?

According to Wielerflits, Fiorelli is doing the Vuelta; Kuss and Kelderman the Giro, with Kuss doubling Giro-Tour (no real surprise here); Tullett doubling Tour-Vuelta.
Such a team selection would make a lot of sense.

So climbing doms for Vingegaard:

Giro - Kuss, Kelderman, Piganzoli, Lemmen
Tour - Kuss, Jorgenson, Tulett, Armirail, (WVA)

Kuss saying he might do 3 GTs again this year, a rematch with Roglic on the cards at the Vuelta.
Did I miss something? Kuss received the gift in late 2023 and has been missing in action since. Kuss has morphed into Robert Gesink light. Kuss is a solid racer and you could be right about Roglic rematch, Primoz won't win either.

He gets stronger on his 3rd GC, sample size: 1

He did vanish though he was quite good at the Tour, and 7th GC in the Vuelta as a domestique which I actually forgot about. I've heard either burnout after doing 3 GTs or a series of mysterious illnesses hampered his 2024.

I don't think anything dramatic has happened to Kuss. He's been his normal self all the time, pretty much. The only exception was hitting career-best form in that Vuelta, probably helped by making a bit of mental switch when thrust into the leader's jersey instead of chilling when he wasn't needed to do work. He's had his normal occasional decent stage race result both before and after that Vuelta. He's always been inconsistent and has had the habit of going missing for some important days in GTs (or even parts of a season) while being an ultra-mythical climber on other days.

Your comment as well as Squire's post I totally agree with and a top ten at Vuelta was excellent. It's all through the lense of immediately everyone responding that he would be in a leadership role and that Roglic and Vingegaard were suddenly on notice. That said the sudden exit of Yates might create opportunities for Sepp. He is a great racer and can really produce some outstanding rides. All the media interactions I have seen and read , he comes off as a gentleman with great measures of humility.
I am more than confused but what Visma is focusing on, getting a feeling like most of their objectives are participation ribbons or trophies.
