Now I regret not picking Inglinskiy.

Out of the classics which is where I felt I did the worst (especially the Ardennes) and back to stage racing where I hope to do better.

I'm glad the Ardennes are over!

So am I. The spring seems to be where I do the worst. The cobbled classics weren't too bad. But the Ardennes, my team was a total bust.

Update 16: The Ardennes classics bring back the suspense

Two weeks ago Mellow Velo was destroying the competition, leading by more than 500 points. Now, after the Ardennes classics, things are looking quite different, as TeoSheva has overtaken the lead. In the last two weeks, Mellow Velo has scored only 561 points while TeoSheva has scored 1442 points mainly because of Vanendert and the two classic winners, Gasparotto and Iglinskiy.
The top of the leaderboard is very close now, though. In fact, when Iglinskiy passed Nibali a few hundred meters before the finishing line in Liège-Bastogne-Liège, TeoSheva also literally passed Mellow Velo in the standings.

Two teams enter the top 10 this week: MADRAZO for the first time (I think) and Popchu who's back after only one week outside the top 10.

Top 10

1. (2) TeoSheva - 6976
2. (1) Mellow Velo - 6912
3. (3) EvansIsTheBest - 6866
4. (6) Kvinto - 6543
5. (4) lancaster - 6507
6. (9) theyoungest - 6469
7. (10) Netserk - 6366
8. (7) AntonioRossi - 6304
9. (15) MADRAZO - 6277
10. (12) Popchu - 6221

This weeks high scorers and this weeks high jumpers lists are very similar. With Vanendert, Betancur, Atapuma and Iglinskiy among others in his team, schullster46 takes second on this weeks high scorers list while he tops the high jumpers list. With Nibali, Kiserlovski and Iglinskiy among others in his team, Tuarts scores an amazing 851 points this week.

This weeks high scorers

1. Tuarts - 851
2. schullster46 - 830
3. togo95 - 828
4. fedaia - 799
5. auscyclefan94 - 796
5. Handbrake - 796

This weeks high jumpers

1. schullster46 +21
1. togo95 +21
3. Handbrake +16
4. Tuarts +15
4. auscyclefan94 +15
4. Armchair cyclist +15

Now that the classics season has finished, will we perhaps see a few new teams challenge the three runaway teams of TeoSheva, Mellow Velo and EvansIsTheBest the next couple of weeks?

Very close at the top as expected, I am now in position to take the lead if I have a good Romandie (I have the line-up now they need to not underperform : Spilak, Kreuziger, Durbridge, Rogers, Luis Leon Sanchez, Sicard, Van der Sande, Larsson, Lloyd, Pinot, Elissonde and Rolland).

I have 7 riders that have scored a 100+ point increase compared to last year with Boonen, Iglinskiy and Démare turning in the biggest profits (for a cost of 732 points combined, they already scored 2235 points  ).

I think it's weird that not more teams have Iglinskiy in them. He's included in 47 teams, making him the 17th most popular pick in the game.

Here we're talking of a rider who for the previous four seasons scored more than twice the points he did in 2011 and in 2011 he only scored 14% of the points he did in 2010.

If that's not enough, we're talking of the rider who won Strade Bianche, finished 4th in Tirreno-Adriatico, 8th in Milano - San Remo, 7th in Gent - Wevelgem, 8th in Ronde van Vlaanderen in 2010 only to have a horrible 2011.

If that's not a bargain, then what is?

Of course, I don't have him on my team though ;)

Finally I got it :)

That's already a good milestone for my season: I can be happy!

Of course, I hope to keep it as long as possible, but it will not be easy!

Thanks to Cqmanager and Hugo for their great work! and I can already say that I will be happy to help you next year in the organisation of the game!

Back to competition, this is my list of riders for Romandie:

Tour de Romandie
KWIATKOWSKI Michael
SPILAK Simon
DURBRIDGE Luke
DAVIS Allan
PORTE Richie
ROGERS Michael
MATTHEWS Michael
SANCHEZ GIL Luis Leon
KELDERMAN Wilco
TALANSKY Andrew

good team, will not be easy to overcome me
