Contador is a risky pick;)

funny

anyways back to names,

say Cobo was picked by 6 people then after the discussion 30 add his name 1/3 changed teams due to it - it makes the team presentation on jan 4 or 5 less fun.

just saying

but the conditions were the same for everybody, nobody forced me (as an example) not to pick Cobo although there was a room left for him?

it is a distortion of the game's sense, basically all the names are known, they are all mentioned in the CQ, in the end it's a matter of your own analysis in spite of whether or not a name is mentioned here.

I'll reveal a name:

Tosh van der Sande!

He's not without risks though, as he earned some points in prestigious espoirs races.

had him in my prem. sqaud. There are better picks at that price imo. I don't see him a dominate first year either.

Absolutely.

I'll go as far as to say that there's better value in the <5 points bracket.

Hmm, unless I'm blind I don't see any locks for good value <10. Several who could get one or two hundred but at the same time could get less than 50. The main guys in this bracket seem to be promising youngsters who have shown nothing at all in the pros, or those in continental teams who are always going to have inconsistent seasons points wise.

Even if he has a nothing season I think should get around 100 with relatively low risk. If he goes closer to 200 it's a bonus. I think Lloyd is the best of the three 0 pointers.

No they werent. For the first 30 entrants, hrotha only revealed that there was a good rider at 0 points.

It was only later revealed that that was Cobo.

And still among these 30 (or even less than 30) entrants 10 picked Cobo. I repeat, basically conditions were the same because all the names were from the KNOWN source (the CQ) but for some reasons many of us (those who are against revealing names) rate hours spent in the CQ (hours of seeking for riders who had a bad season) above a little analysis of what is the max. expectation of a certain rider, and finally when someone reveals their "not that unique" picks they are angry because it appears that hours in the CQ were spent in vain.

TBH for me it is not that important, but if someone doesn't want to mention names it's OK, and if the other wants to play with open cards it's OK too, because so far the game is under way but it ends on 5 Jan, right from this date only calculations remain (with a lot of fun of course).

Three? You think there's only three? I had a longlist of 0 pointers FFS :)

Everyone is going to go back to the drawing board after acf's heavenly team is revealed.
I am doing it because of how silly people are becoming about revealing riders in their teams so I am giving people a chance to have a look at a whole team.
