Cattaneo doesnt have a team. I asked our experts (Kazistuta and Madrazo and Jakob) and they seem to think that he will join Lampre as a staggaire later, so not worth it.

catteneo will stay in U23 til August, I had been considering him most of the year, may still pay off for you though...

Does Kump have a team for 2012? he was the CQ transfer overview as Adria Mobil ??? but isnt on their roster for 2012

considered Cancellara in Olympic year, and could well be a great pick, but not for me.

Would love to have retained Durbridge (was one of only 3 who had him last year) but track focus will stop him from having a year like Dowsett for example...

I really wanted to fit all these riders in, especially since i think Farrar will win the Olympics RR.
Henao did not fit in my team ( the same ) for Blythe ( i chose Demare instead ) and i chose Moser for Cattaneo. De Gendt is a good pick but i thought a bit risky. Everyone picked Kroon LLS is a good pick as well.

Good shout with Farrar, that was my thinking too. I figured the Olympic RR was like an extra monument being added to the calendar, and I should try and capitalise. De Gendt was a late inclusion after I heard he would do the Giro-Vuelta.

What about Blanco then. Got 300+ eveyrtime he won the Volta and only got about 100 this year. Very likely to double.

Favourite team so far (of the handful I've looked at) is theyoungest. Bold picks, holy crap, at both the top and bottom ends. Of his top 6 picks, Froome, Poels and Hesjedal have all had exactly one good year, and I would take only Poels as a sure bet to reach that again. And Horner and Freire (one of the last riders I cut as he might be one of my all-time favourites) are just big gambles because of age. And then there's Anton, totally unpredictable.

Kudos for laying it all on the line; you'll either look like a genius or crash and burn.

I thought about Mancebo ( he was one of the first riders i shortlisted ) but i decided to focus on the Euro scene. I also thought about Carrara.

Thanks for the info, i see its updated now on CQ. Yes should score well, but no room on my team for him. was on my radar for most of last year as one of the few riders on ingsve's team that wasnt doing well!
