The Qatar start list is loaded with sprinters and we should see some fireworks.

Cav
Greipel
Sagan
Hushovd
Gilbert
Guardini
Boonen
Chicchi
Farrar
Mc Ewen
Galimzyanov
Renshaw
Cancellara

and many others that can also be close to the front including MiniPhinney, Pozzato etc

Should be fun and we should be able to tell a lot more after the race

For those that have Jose Sarmiento, he recieved a fracture in his clavicle. In a week, he'll be given the OK to train on rollers, and he's expected to be at the start line of the GP de Lugano.

I hope i can get some points from riders in Qatar but i am not certain as to how many i have.

It's good that Boonen has been consistent in all 3 stages at Luis for me. Hopefully it means he can be good in the Classics. Him, Kreuziger, Basso and Brajkovic are going to be my main people.

I hope Ciolek, Devolder, Breschel, Velits and Pozzato have resurgences.

Isn't he injured???

Also those are a lot of riders you had.

Yeah, I thought he was injured, but he's listed on the start list?

Picked a lot of sprinter types, so I guess they're gunna turn up to these two races.

Got a good team in Qatar - Boonen, Farrar, Pozzato, Guardini, Blythe, Henderson and Degenkolb.

Pedals will be turned in anger for the first time etc.

I think we're in for some interesting weeks. I did some math and next week there are 1639 points to be handed out, while the week after there are 4993 points to be handed out!

Thinking about the points awarded at those races, it almost feels unfair to award same number of points to Etoile de Besseges and Qatar. The Qatar has quite a few A list riders where Etoile de Besseges majority of riders are B/C class. Just saying ...

There aren't the same points this year - Qatar is upgraded to 2.HC, Besseges is 2.1, as Qatar has been in previous years.

He is not suspended until he's had his trial. Dunno what date that is. As it is he can race for the time being.

Goss and O'Grady are down as reserves for Qatar and are racing in Oman (according to cyclingfever) I imagine one of them would take his spot.

Good to know, for whatever reason CN is still listing the race as 2.1 ...

After I climbed 21 places in the last update, Bouhanni delivers a very nice surpise. And as I am the only one with Maaaaaaaarten to have him, I can start bragging and hope he does a much better season than expected. Way to go team

Maaaaaaaarten might move up from 2nd last then:D
