So he is cheaper than he would have been had he not been been suspended: surely that is contrary to the purpose of the pricing policy.

He is the exception that proves the rule :p

I dunno, I thought the purpose of the pricing policy was to have a clear and uniform policy for riders who were suspended. Costa is at one end of the spectrum - he came back early in the year, and is a young, improving rider, so he did better in his last 'suspended' year than he did in his last 'unsuspended' year. I can't think of anyone else who's been suspended who has that - it's more like Astarloza and Dekker (or Schumacher last year), guys who came back late and scored few points, but would score more in a full year.

Either way, I'm bummed that it's out in the open before the game starts because I thought I was being pretty sneaky to spot it.

Wouldn't worry too much - most people have submitted their teams. For the record I don't have him, and won't be changing my team to include him.

Does the same count for Barredo then, seeing they exchanged fists (and wheels) with each other?

Oh **** **** *** I really need to start picking my team.

I know some of you wont believe me but procrastination/ lazyness is one of my great banes.

Like with my coursework I spend 4 months laughing at how much time I have until I realize its in the next day.

Have changed back and forth between half the team at least 20 times the last week, so had to make some hard decisions and submit my team now to get a little peace.

Ended up with 33 at 7496.

Has tried to use the brain only and not my heart, but its propably a litle of both.

Anyways I look forward to the contest, and to see all the other teams.

I'll be submitting my team today. I have very few points to spare on my 33rd rider. There's not many good buys that I know of from what I have left, but I'm going to double check.

That breakdown in teams and nationalities looks familiar enough that I think there is a chance we have quite a few riders in common.

I certainly don't. You have most likely devised all sorts of algorithims and analyses to work out the perfect Cq team.

87 entrants now. Come on, we wanna reach 100 ;)

As per your request, my team has been submitted!

I believe you all agree the winner is obvious and the prize should be handed right over to me so where can I pickup the prize? :D
